Same thing happened to my peacock emperor! I got him for a good price.. he arrived decapitated ;_; He’s still sitting here… 🙁
No way! That’s crazy…mine was too badly smashed to even TRY and repair. About seven pieces and a pile of dust. I’ll have to dig up the photos for everyone’s viewing (or groaning) pleasure. 🙂 No peanuts, no styrofoam…only one layer of bubble wrap and get this…NEWSPAPER!! For an EMPEROR! In a box about three times the size he was. Ridiculous packaging. 🙄
March 16, 2007 at 1:51 am #551945Know the feeling… The brown emp my hubby was getting me for Christmas came in one layer of bubble wrap in a box of packing peanuts… Needless to say, he wasn’t in one piece… Luckily the guy gave him a full refund, no questions… I wanted to smack someone sooo bad! Sorry you had it happen to you too. I’m with Nirvana… I have several sharp, pointy objects…
March 16, 2007 at 5:52 am #551946Like Nirvana said, Just let us know if we need to make a road trip. 👿

I got a large wizard from ebay that arrived wrapped in news paper only then the seller tried to tell me that the PO said that was good packing. Fortunately, the insurance did give me a full refund.
March 16, 2007 at 3:39 pm #551948Wow, poor dragons and poor you! I think we all have horror stories when it comes to shipping. Several years back, I myself was lucky enough to land a peacock mama, hatching emperor, empress, and kinglet. I was absolutely thrilled until I opened the box to find the emperor end empress beheaded, and the mama cracked right in half! The seller was understanding and gave me a refund for the damaged ones, and I hope your seller is wise enough to do the same. I didn’t plan on reselling my dragons anyway, so I’ve restored them pretty nicely.
It’s a shame that even notes from us buyers, asking to PLEASE pack the critters carefully, so often go unnoticed or half-arsed by sellers. Best of luck in getting this resolved. Even if the seller refunds your money, you can’t pay back that kind of heartbreak and anger 🙁
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
March 16, 2007 at 8:41 pm #551949I got a full refund, and a very nice(short opps type) appology. She said that it obviously happened after she sent them, but she felt partually responsible. I asked her if she wants them back. I haven’t heard back.
I’m leaning towards a neutral feedback, but still haven’t decided. If I can keep the dragons, that will be a big perk. But, she seems very aluf and “PO’s fault” about it. I donno. Not rude. Just kinda…duh.
Any new thoughts on feedback?
Bottom line, I am pleased that she gave mea full refund no questions asked. I offered a partual.

I’m sticking with what I said above, especially since she wouldn’t admit she packed them like an idiot.
March 16, 2007 at 10:16 pm #551951Maybe she’ll learn to pack them better.
If you get to keep them, I’d definitely leave positive, if it were me. I mean yes, she screwed up, but she did the professional thing by giving you the refund. And even more so, if you keep them you’re going to come out ahead, because damaged Windstones DO have value. As badly damaged as these it’s not much, admittedly, but it’s still some.
March 16, 2007 at 10:33 pm #551952the exact feedback I would leave….
“items packed terribly but seller gave full refund no hassle”
And it would be pos it she allows you to keep the dragons, and nut if she asks for them back.March 16, 2007 at 10:44 pm #551953whippetluv wrote:the exact feedback I would leave….

And it would be pos it she allows you to keep the dragons, and nut if she asks for them back.Well said. that’s exactly what I’m going to post. As postitive, as she did let me keep them. Gonna use the money from the baby to pay to fix the white one. 😀
Gotta question Whippet. do you think that you can restore the male to the point of looking mint, or is he repaint folder now because of all the missing peices?
March 17, 2007 at 12:51 am #551955If whippet can’t, I may be able to. 🙂 But, I think she already said it’d be no problem! 😀

My art: featherdust.comMarch 17, 2007 at 1:16 am #551956OMG, that really sucks for the seller too when you think about it. Her “duh” mistake cost her 3 Windstone figures and $200+ ! Hopefully she’s learned from her $200 mistake.
Glad you got it all figured out bluepony!
