If they end up being mine, he’s yours. He has one teenie tiny rub on his top…feather? thing. A pinpoint. I will give him a bath(thick layer of dust and filth on all of them) to make sure. He had the same size wrap as everyone else, and it was actually plenty for him π
With water?i was going to dig up the thread about cleaning them. thouht maybe a toothbrush and warm water. But, if she doesn’t take them back, and you want him dirty, I’ll let you clean him if you prefer π

This is a handy site for sorting the neutrals and negatives out of feedback. This is not sanctioned by eBay – they refuse to set up something like this b/c they feel it isn’t “fair”. Personally, I think people are smart enough to weigh the good with the bad. I think people should be able to make an informed decision, w/o looking through (sometimes) hundreds of feedback comments. Anyway, enjoy~
Thank you, I’ll be sure to poke around π

Weren’t you at one point looking for damaged Windstones though?? π eh, j/k. sorry, I know now is really not a good joking time, right? π Trying to cheer you up a bit!
I do hope you get the situation figured out with your seller. Buuuut, I’m going to throw my opinion in the mix and say that *IF* this seller turns out to be quite apologetic and very helpful in getting the situation taken care of to your liking, I’d leave him/her positive feedback. Let’s face it guys, some people just aren’t very smart. And some people are not avid windstone collectors. It is very possible this person did not have enough wits to think that packing three dragons in a box is a bad thing. If this seller gets you all taken cared of and they are nice to you and apologetic, my opinion is for positive feedback but saying that items arrived broken, blah blah.
When you are buying something from someone, it is the interested buyer’s responsibility to actually read what has been written in the feedback statements. That is the whole point of the feedback comment. If it were just ‘positive’, ‘nuetral’ or ‘negative’ that mattered, then what would be the point of being able to leave any writing in a lil’ box? It’s for situations like this, I think. Where yeah, the items arrived broken, BUT, the seller took the time to care for me and fix my problem to where I’m satisfied in the end.
Just my 2 cents. But Bluepony, you do whatever you want girl….it’s you situation. And of course, I wish you the best of luck in it. I hope this gets better for you!! π
Yeah, I was looking for damaged ones, til someone kindly pointed out about buying a case to take with me to shows instead. I actually bought a nice case this morning π If I had bought them damaged(with a damaged price) I’d be perfectly fine.
Must be a bad day for Windstones or something. I got a refund from the male peacock I bought, apparenlty he fel off the table and broke? Did the person who bought her other windstone get that?
March 15, 2007 at 10:31 pm #551932I think the feedback will just depend on my gut feeling. I won’t decide until a day afer the dust settles π Although I find it *very* intresting to read everyone’s different view points.

March 15, 2007 at 10:52 pm #551935Oh sweetie!!!! You have my sincerest condolences, and Louis and my services for destruction of horrible packers! =P I’m glad that your hubby has a great sense of humor and that it does help cheer you up! Laughter really IS the best medicine! Definately get your money back, keep the hatching, and let Whippet do her magic work! *I’d also take the female on tour with you along with the sign that says “Do THIS to my display peices…and I do THIS to you!” *Insert pic of you over hubby with bloody knife and LOTS of katsup spilled everywhere =P*
Keep your chin up! We’re here for immoral support!!March 15, 2007 at 10:56 pm #551936Does anyone the forum have a good enough hand at sculpting to perhaps give him a new face. I’ve never done a dragon PYO but if you don’t resell him maybe you could salvage him a bit. I’ve worked some with apoxiesculpt and it seems to be okay stuff, maybe it would stick to his face. I don’t know, just thinking out loud here.

March 16, 2007 at 12:07 am #551941Sorry about your dragons. π My brother had a similar problem with a stero receiver he had bought. The jerk didn’t even respond to his emails, but the brake wasn’t too bad and my brother was able to fix it. Man, I hate it when sellers do that. When i ordered my ki-rin’s from that store in Michigan, i paid for 2nd day air because i was afraid of my pieces coming to me broken. I was lucky, the woman who did my order did a fantasic job with 10 layers of bubble wrap and a ton of packaging peanuts. I hope you can fix them. they are a great set but i would ask for a refund just for the broken pieces. Just my say. Chin up.

Yep, that would harm the felt…not sure about the eyes. Definately try and get all the dirt off by a can of air or something soft. Then you could probably use a little of water if it still needs it.March 16, 2007 at 12:30 am #551943They are really sad…but I do have an idea for the father and I think he is fixable. The mother will be easy! No worries!
