πŸ˜† Sorry… it just irks me when people get off like that…

Me, too. I honestly might leave a neutral in this situation. If they were incredibly apologetic and gave a full refund, I think I would leave positive. If they got smart with me or made me claim the insurance, or just made getting the refund an unpleasant ordeal, then I would give neg or neutral. I suppose it depends on the situation and if I am PMSing or not. πŸ™„ πŸ˜›

And im sorry about your horses. I hate waiting for stuff and then hearing peices when I pick up the box. πŸ˜•

        Bluepony,

My condolences on your dragons. Looking at your white one made me hurt inside. I hope the seller offers a full refund. It never ceases to amaze me how people can pack anything like that and not give it a second thought. Grrr! πŸ‘Ώ

You guys are so great. I’m so glad someone else understands. Most of our friends who come over to the house kinda look at me like I’m nuts when i have “toy horses” all over the house. So, i don’t even care what they’d think that I cried over a facless dragon πŸ˜•

I cried when my green fledge broke. My son just broke another one recently, but I managed to control myself. I def understand your pain. What a way to ruin a good deal πŸ˜•

Honestly though, The male is pretty bad, but both are definatly fixable. I was imaging much worse. These won’t be as hard as they look to fix I don’t think. Especially the female. I’m sure whippet will fix them right up perfectly =)

            Yeah, I know.

My husband said he thinks we ought to try to get the white one fixed, but kinda leave the mama as is, and put them in the shop with a sign that says “always handle your Windstone Collecables with care, as they are fragile”.

Guess that’s a good way to use them if i end up stuck with them.

Yup, I already heard back from Whippet, who has agreed to the challange. I’m just waiting to see what this gal has to say.

I did recover several chips and peices of scales, and am putting those in a little baggie for future use. I bought them both for my private collection, and to pass down to Chloe. It just burns me that theywere so poorly packed and arrived so bad. Mint is mint. not faceless πŸ˜₯

Huby just called again(he’s trying to chear me up). he thinks the sign now ought to say “this is why you, and my husband, are not allowed to touch/handle/come within 5 feet of Windstone Collectables”.

πŸ˜† Your hubby has a good sense of humor. I hope it worked and you are a little cheered. πŸ™‚

I just got home from school and read this post! OMG, Blue! I feel so bad for your dragons and you. I’m so sorry that they’re messed up.

I have to say that I’m with Lady Brooklyn on this one about the feedback. I always look at feedback of sellers, 100% or otherwise. If there are neutrals, it will say how many on the top. I try to find them and read them to see what the actual problem was. If I found something that said the seller packed for $#@%, even with a refund, I would think twice about bidding. A positive would blend right in and I’d skim over it looking for the neutrals and negatives. DON’T give this person a positive. She screwed up. It’s now at a negative. If she makes it right, it gets raised to a neutral. That’s the only way to warn other buyers. You owe it to them with your experience with her not to let them go through what you just did, and have someone else get a smashed Windstone. And she’s got lots of items for sale right now, if I’m not mistaken.

That sucks. Well at least you can still sell me the baby if you want to. πŸ˜€

If they end up being mine, he’s yours. He has one teenie tiny rub on his top…feather? thing. A pinpoint. I will give him a bath(thick layer of dust and filth on all of them) to make sure. He had the same size wrap as everyone else, and it was actually plenty for him πŸ˜€

I’m really sorry to hear about that, I am soooo obsessive when it comes to making sure my breakable packaging is good enough! ://

I’m sorry about those dragons, blue – it really sux: -(

This is a handy site for sorting the neutrals and negatives out of feedback. This is not sanctioned by eBay – they refuse to set up something like this b/c they feel it isn’t “fair”. Personally, I think people are smart enough to weigh the good with the bad. I think people should be able to make an informed decision, w/o looking through (sometimes) hundreds of feedback comments. Anyway, enjoy~

I also looked at your pics, blue. I am really sad the white dragon doesn’t have a face. I think the female won that battle (of course most women win anyway πŸ˜›). I hope you get it resolved and the seller makes it right, but you still get to keep them and send them to Dr. Whippet. πŸ˜€

                  OH bluepony, that S-U-C-K-S

The picture of your headless white male is downright scary, like Hannibal Lecter scary. 😯

Weren’t you at one point looking for damaged Windstones though?? πŸ˜› eh, j/k. sorry, I know now is really not a good joking time, right? πŸ™„ Trying to cheer you up a bit!

I do hope you get the situation figured out with your seller. Buuuut, I’m going to throw my opinion in the mix and say that *IF* this seller turns out to be quite apologetic and very helpful in getting the situation taken care of to your liking, I’d leave him/her positive feedback. Let’s face it guys, some people just aren’t very smart. And some people are not avid windstone collectors. It is very possible this person did not have enough wits to think that packing three dragons in a box is a bad thing. If this seller gets you all taken cared of and they are nice to you and apologetic, my opinion is for positive feedback but saying that items arrived broken, blah blah.

When you are buying something from someone, it is the interested buyer’s responsibility to actually read what has been written in the feedback statements. That is the whole point of the feedback comment. If it were just ‘positive’, ‘nuetral’ or ‘negative’ that mattered, then what would be the point of being able to leave any writing in a lil’ box? It’s for situations like this, I think. Where yeah, the items arrived broken, BUT, the seller took the time to care for me and fix my problem to where I’m satisfied in the end.

Just my 2 cents. But Bluepony, you do whatever you want girl….it’s you situation. And of course, I wish you the best of luck in it. I hope this gets better for you!! πŸ˜‰
