Did you know you are more likely to get hit by lightning than to get attacked by a shark? Just thought that was a good tidbit of info to know… if you are planning a trip to the beach.
Oh!! Welcome to the forums! In the community section we talk about everything. The topics are labeled and we stay in those topics, but the threads go everywhere. 😆
April 27, 2008 at 7:52 am #692074Heh! That reminds me Ski, I was watching a “Jackass” episode last night where Steve-O strapped chum to himself and went swimming in “shark infested” water. He didn’t get bit though.

I wanted to swim with the sharks when I got to Hawaii, but talked to a guy who had done it. Apparently, they take you out on the boat, chum the waters, then you Swim to the cage 😯 When your time is up (after you have seen all the sharks swarming around you in a feeding frenzy) you have to swim back to the boat. Granted, its only 10 feet or so away, but IMO, thats 10 feet or so too many. I will have to ask about the procedure before I pay to try it.

Oh boy Ski, that guy had some guts. I wouldn’t be able to do that even if I were in a cage.
Oh and Hello and a late welcome.
