Well, we *almost* had the snowfall of the century this weekend in the Toronto area. We don’t normally get so much.
After shoveling:
And my husband did a little 360 video of the backyard. The swingset will give you an idea of the amount of snow.

March 10, 2008 at 1:05 am #676418We got alot too. And now I know for sure that the river will reach our house and actualy go inside! We had the river all around the house about 5 years ago and there was not that much snow.
March 10, 2008 at 1:19 am #676419π― Holy cow, BDW! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much snow in my life!
March 10, 2008 at 1:25 am #676420I took almost all of my Windstones at my mom’s place and this week I have to pack as much as I can to move it there in case the river reaches the house. I had to ask around for a place for my birds and my cats and I also have to find out if I can place my son for the period that we will be flooded. I’m just praying I’m doing all this for noting.
I need to find a new place to live! This is so stressful! πMarch 10, 2008 at 1:28 am #676421Blackdesertwind wrote:I took almost all of my Windstones at my mom’s place and this week I have to pack as much as I can to move it there in case the river reaches the house. I need to find a new place to live! This is so stressful! πYikes! That must be incredibly stressful! Hang in there and keep us posted. I hope you’re doing it all for nothing too. I remember one wildfire season we could see flames from the back yard. We got all prepared to evacuate but the fire was stopped. I hope you’re that fortunate!
March 10, 2008 at 2:28 am #676422Here are some pictures of the flood we had about 5 years ago. Remember that winter we did not have much snow.
March 10, 2008 at 2:29 am #676423That much snow is scary. @.@; Ice is scary too.
March 10, 2008 at 2:34 am #676424Now you are making me homesick. π We had snow like that quite often in MI. Just not every year. My Mom says they have had close to 100 inches so far this year. I love it here in GA but I sure do miss my family. π₯

March 10, 2008 at 4:01 am #676426Just watching the news tonight. The last time we had this much snow was 1932. I’m just surprised the city is dealing with it so well.
