The move is still going; everything is going into storage 2 hours away from Soda… and we woke up to an inch of snow and it’s still falling 😮 😮 🙄 It’s nearly June for crying out loud!!! Not only is it snowing, but we’re getting thunder, lightning and hail as well. Yesterday’s trip included all the ceramic molds, the kiln, Roddy’s fishing boat, all the camping and fishing gear and the slip mixer. Today the glass, windstones, china, crystal, bookshelves and linen closets go… looks like me boyohs are trying to get their rock ‘collection’ in (Rod hates moving rocks, poor boy 😀 ) Clearing out the crafting supplies as well… paint, fabric, paper (lot’s of paper 😀 – I think I’m addicted), costuming stuff, etc. My jewelry supplies will go later along with the torch and soldering equip. and bench. All the framed art goes today as well. Comic books, engineering books and lasers went yesterday… The house is starting to look nekkid 😮 😀

I personally don’t think any of us will have a ‘summer’ this year! It rains here off and on–sunny now but it could cloud up by evening. It’s cold as well–I’m not used to hearing my furnance fire up in May! Sounds like you’re getting everything out of the old house–sometimes that could be kinda sad–all the memories that are associated with that old house. But the best to you on your move and that it be an uneventful one! 😀
Wind is picking up and we now have white out conditions… We were hoping for 2 trips today. We’ll see how it goes 😈

I already had summer a couple of weeks ago. It was 25-30C (77-86F) for most of the week. This last week’s been a lot colder, rain and snow and a monsoon season all wrapped in one nifty 5 day package. 🙄
At least my work temp never changes. It’s always a balmy 5C (41F). 😆

It’s been the same way for me (summer temps) since May began really.
snow?? wow, over here it’s hot as a furnace, sun shines too hard and I even think I got some tan today *shrieks in horror* tanning is so not my style,

Wow Peg, you’re cool up there in Northern Florida, Ocala’s been averaging 93 in the shade. 😮

It’s been creeping higher everyday. According to the weather gadget on my laptop it’s currently 90 (a check on weather.com shows actual temp 88 but feels like 92).
