When I read the ebay auction description:
This early version has small feet. Unfortunately, the feet are too small to easily make pads for, so I had to change the sculpture to have bigger, fluffier feet. We cast about 300 of these small-feet Ki-Rins before we realized it would be a problem. I am not sure yet what we will do with all the others.I immediatly had an idea:
How about Goof up grab bags, with no pad(s)?And BTW, that kirin is just darling! Love him

I´d like to see the two types (small feet and bigger feet) next to each other for comparisonNo, that won´t happen. Once it is decided that a piece is a production piece it stays that way! THere are some legal matters behind that.
On the other way will the PYOs never become production piecesThere could be a lot of confusion if something is a PYO and production. At the same time, I would LOVE to see a fantasy or grab bag koi fix grab bag of these guys.

I agree with the earlier posters – grab bag small feet Ki-Rins! That would be epic, especially in koi markings, fantasy markings, or in an elemental theme.

I see, it’s not much of a visible difference I guess but makes sense for the pads. Either way I would love a production kirin or fantasy grab bag one if that would be an option!

Technically speaking, the little standing koirin is already above my current budget. But if Windstone does this, I will tell my winter vacation/trip to Australia that it can go suck itself and dig into my savings and just pray to god we can order more than one/I get one(some?) I like without having to trade. I’m dead serious about this.
