Hello! For some years I’ve been looking for the sitting red fox model in the natural red fox color. I’ve seen one picture of this fox, never seen it in the WE shop, never seen it for sale, never on eBay, classifieds, etc., and I’m beginning to wonder if it even exists or if that one picture was really the only fox. I have all the other fox models, including the lying curled up red fox. This sitting natural red is the last one I’m looking for. Is it a myth? Is it really out there? Thank you for any help!
June 25, 2024 at 6:22 am #1684658You may have seen a picture of one of the Grab Bag sitting red foxes that were sold in 2015. They were painted in a variety of red fox color morphs.
Following up on your question – has there ever been a store batch of natural color sitting red foxes?

Melody’s comments are with each photo,
photo 1 – “moonglow, marble, calico, platinum, silver etc.”
photo 2 – “Most of these are real fox colors”
photo 3 – “There’s a merle in the front left side. I don’t think foxes actually come in merle, but I’ve seen pics of colors that are close.”
photo 4 – “They do come in colors that look just like collies.”

June 27, 2024 at 11:39 am #1684738I can confirm that the only “Natural” colored Sitting Red Foxes were a grab bag edition in 2015, as per the class photos that Etruscan has posted. Thank you Etruscan! -Susie
