Please don’t throw things at me but I think that the paint job looks awfully flat…they need a hint of a darker or lighter in the shading. *ducks for cover*

That’s what I was saying. They look very monotone. Nothing like the tests Arlla photographed.
I don’t like them. They use to have all that beautiful black on them. What happened? 😕
December 15, 2007 at 12:14 am #647253I need a fledgie in that color!
December 15, 2007 at 1:09 am #647254i won’t have enough to get one of these ones…but at least i can afford the curlies.<3
December 15, 2007 at 1:09 am #647255I like them. I may have to dig around for some more money. 😀
December 15, 2007 at 4:53 am #647256They look so pretty. I too have no money to spend on collectible things right now. But, I am trying to limit myself to only the Curlies and Poads.
Must resist these other silvers! 😡December 15, 2007 at 7:09 am #647257I agree, they need some of the darker color. But I still like them, and plan to get them later. I hope these will stick around the store till after Christmas *hopes*
December 15, 2007 at 7:14 am #647258my male has a fair ammount of black on him..hes perfect in my book, and no theyre not signed
December 15, 2007 at 8:00 am #647259I am not fond of this color at all. It’s way too monotone. I am glad these are not a production color, as I’d get sick of working on such boringly colored dragons.
(I’m hoping for something excitingly colored that isn’t a dragon, for a change.)

I have to agree with the two of you. Unless the lavender eyed batch comes around and they have lots more shading, I will be passing on the silvers. I’m glad some people are happy with them, though. Better some people are happy than none. 😉

😯 How’d you get one so fast? (sorry, if this was mentioned elsewhere)
December 15, 2007 at 2:37 pm #647262Hmm, wait: maybe the fact that the store photos are against a black background messes with the color scheme a bit. It could be that there is more black shading on these and we’re just not seeing it. Draco, can you post pix? Maybe seeing these against a different-colored background will show them off better. 😕

He went to the factory the other day for his birthday.
December 15, 2007 at 2:55 pm #647264Just found an eBay auction for a silver curlie with lavender eyes. Photographed against a brown background, the dragon has a lot more color variation than he seems to in the store photos. I didn’t think I liked the Silver curls when I saw them in the store; seeing this new picture, I’ve changed my mind! The auction link is http://cgi.ebay.com/Windstone-Curled-Dragon-Silver-with-purple-eyes_W0QQitemZ110205970649QQihZ001QQcategoryZ35873QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem if anybody wants to see what I mean.
(Jeez, that’s a long link. Did I do that right? 😕 )
December 15, 2007 at 2:59 pm #647265Yep! You did it right! 🙂
