Silver dragon Eye Color Poll

We really do need a new eye color for the dragons. Lavender, green, something!!!!

I never liked the red eyes = they look okay with the emerald color because of the awesmoe contrast, but I would have prefered something else with the gold dragons.

Viola! I used the fledgling dragon because it was the only one I could find multiple dragons of in almost the exact same postioning for different exsisting dragon eye colors – red and straw yellow. I’m not a fan of the red, but I could totally dig me some yellow eyed Black Gold dragons. And now that I’ve added lavender I could dig those as well!

Oh MAN they look SOOOO much better with either color! Even though the BG are my favorite color, I really hate the blue eyes with them. They take away from the colors… plus the blue is not replicated anywhere else on the body so it looks misplaced for them to have blue eyes.

The yellow eyes look really good on black gold…though I personally like the red eyes too!

I really could never understand how they chose BLUE eyes for that coloration…wtf???

Okay, no one kick me since I just spoke against them, but! I think that lavender eyes would have been the best in the black gold. That way you will be drawn to the very subtle amounts of purple on the sculpture. That’s a great way to cause the colors to flow in a pleasing way.

This is what I do when I am matting artwork and need to decide on a mat color. I choose the color in the artwork that I want to bring ‘forward’ the most and mat in a color that is similar.

To be fair, Windstone didn’t have lavender eyes when they started making black gold dragons though!!

Oh, man, BG with lavender eyes would be awesome!

Personally, the blue eyes are my favorite – I’m not a big fan of red eyes.

Okay everyone talking about BG with lavender eyes made me want to see how they could look so I went back and added lavender eyes to the picture I made earlier. It’s not exactly the same shade of lavender as is shown on the PYO eye chart and I’m not sure how it compares with the Moon Griffin, but I have to say “Oooh pretty!”

Oh wow. Yes yes, I’d die if they changed the eye color on the BG to lavender. I love how it looks! So much better than the blahblah blue.

The lavender eyes look beautiful on the BG!! The red or yellow would have sold me on them too. I don’t like the blue eyes on the BG, so I only have the coiled mama (she has tiny eyes lol).
