I appreciate all the hard work and technical detail that goes into Carl Brender’s work. But I cannot appreciate his art as art. If I wanted perfect hair-by hair pictures of animals I would buy prints of photos instead. Give me something where I can see the brush strokes and personality of the art! I love seeing imagination and life to the art. π

Also, for wolf photographs, I’ve always favored Jim Brandenburg. π
