I was afraid he’d be a bit too loud but I like him alot! My husband says he looks like he’s watching him and it’s kinda creepy. Should I put up a thread to show everyone or do you think they’ll find it here ok?
Too loud? Uh-uh. He’s lovely. Is he going on E-Bay?
May 13, 2007 at 1:04 pm #573184I think I’m keeping him….
May 13, 2007 at 1:13 pm #573185I can see why. 😉
May 13, 2007 at 3:03 pm #573186He’s on Ebay now, so I guess PC changed her mind.
May 13, 2007 at 3:42 pm #573187OOh thats FLion is lovely… 😯 😀

May 13, 2007 at 3:57 pm #573188Yeah…..I decided I want an ow for my collection more….
May 13, 2007 at 7:52 pm #573189He’ll sell as well as your other repaints. 😀
May 13, 2007 at 9:04 pm #573190The White emperor is lovely. I like him in the darker white. I have mixed feelings about the Flion, but I am sure that it will sell well.
May 14, 2007 at 1:04 am #573191purplecat, they are all so cool, I don’t know how you can stand to part with any of them! : -)

Yeah, my family (my dad seems to be ok, but mom and the other relatives) aren’t thrilled with the idea, but it’s not for them to decide. They aren’t the traveling abroad sort 😛
DarkLadyPhoenix wrote:Hokkaido is COLD! Although I suppose that would be a good thing. It’s VERY humid here. Not sure where Iwate is but Miyagi is beautiful. I’m just mad I missed the Cherry Blossom season by 5 days >.<
I love cold weather and can deal with it far easier than humid, hot weather. If the temp gets up to the mid 80s and humid, it starts to get unbearable quickly. I’m a snowball! Iwate is just above Miyagi prefecture. I’ll be happy with any prefecture really, but I would prefer the less densely populated ones. There are also less creepy large bugs up in the north 😉 I can deal with Mukade and the occasional large spider (I think the one I’m thinking of has a name that translates to ‘skull of heaven’ – they are bigger than the mouth of a pint glass 😯 ). I think I’d lose it if I had to deal with the bird eaters in the south! 😯 So. Big.) Bummer on the Cherry Blossoms though 🙁
DarkLadyPhoenix wrote:Yeah, I think I need a decorator or something. Or maybe a roommate and cash in on more money, but we’ll see.
A tokonoma usually holds a seasonal ikebana floral arrangement and a wall scroll because it’s the focal point of the room. It’s extremely taboo to step into one (kinda like sticking chopsticks upright rice). If that isn’t something up your alley, you could always put a really nice piece of artwork or wall hanging there, or hang up some pictures in there 🙂 I love the idea of the windstones tiered like Japanese dolls! That would look awesome! 😀
May 14, 2007 at 1:54 pm #573193Spark, that white emperor is weird! I like him, he looks cool that way. I wonder if someone got a little too happy with the gold layering on him when airbrushing? How strange. I wonder if Melody would know.

My art: featherdust.comMay 14, 2007 at 6:57 pm #573194A couple of new pix….The first is a pic of The Originals. I’ve had them since they came out and they’ve traveled all over NJ with me. On the lower shelf you can see some of my other stuff – my two small flapcats, a snow griff by watergazer, my first pyo griff, a pyo kirin in progress, Beautiful Prax by Greater Basilisk, Rainbow Wolf by bluepony, Kavic wolf by Watergazer and my albino kitty: -) They are all jumbled together for now, but they won’t stay that way.
This one is an updated picture showing my ruby spectral. He just came today and I think he is wonderful. He is a true red and you can see bits of metal flake in his paint. It must be from the automotive paint batch. I would really like to find an emerald riser one of these days…
May 14, 2007 at 7:05 pm #573195Beautiful. 😀
May 14, 2007 at 7:05 pm #573196Pretty! I like the line of all your originals on the top shelf. You should be very proud of your collection. It looks like it is still growing. 😀
May 14, 2007 at 7:12 pm #573197Thank you: -) Yes it is still growing – thanks to all of you enablers! 😆
