Yeah, I noticed the photos of the black and golds are all different in terms of colors! Though I think he’d look better with a purple eye or something.
I agree. That’s the one thing I don’t like about the black golds – their blue eyes.
June 14, 2007 at 7:47 pm #573725I could never figure out what I didn’t like about those dragons, but now that you’ve brought it to my attention – it’s the blue eyes.
June 14, 2007 at 8:14 pm #573726Hmm and I absolutly adore their blue eyes 😀 That’s one of the reasons I’m getting that colour while my male gets to have the Ruby’s!! Umm that and they’re black, I <3 black….
June 14, 2007 at 8:51 pm #573727I just like the color of the black gold. The eyes don’t bother me.
June 14, 2007 at 9:15 pm #573728I like the color of the BG’s too. The eyes are really pretty with the other colors.
June 14, 2007 at 9:54 pm #573729Here are some updated pics of my collection.
New Mama and Young Dragon in Green
My Rainbow Family
Miscellaneous with my Topland Unicorn
Hatching Royalty in Peacock
Just for fun, I thought you’d like to see this pile. This is all the layaways for you guys so far. I still need to get in a couple pieces.
And this pile is my stock for conventions and for the website.
June 16, 2007 at 10:27 pm #573730Well… last night… I lost all sanity. I thik over the course of 5 or 6 hrs… I took at least 300 photos of horses… AND each indiviual Windstone…
The other day I got the bug to rearrange and streamline my 3 or 4 webshots albums… and this is the result… 😆
So… below are pics of my Windstones… but also check out the main page of that webshots… I think I added 6 or 7 albums full of a lot of my Model Horse collection too. 😉
All of the pics were taken in my new… HANDMADE Photocube! That thing is AWESOME! The pictures are so well lit! So much better than NOT using it! 😀
I think all taht’s missing now (since I fixed the horn on my Young Unicorn… YAY! I’ve missed having him on the shelf!) is my Father Dragon and Emerald Fledgeling… who both suffered major OWIES from the cats. Oh wait… and my Gryphon Candlelamp. 🙁
June 16, 2007 at 10:41 pm #573731Nice collections. Ladybrooklyn, What is your photocube made out of?

This is my photocube! ^.^
Basically el-cheapo white fabric from Walmart… cut and glued around straightened hangers…. held together with alligator clips. Then the background/footing is just a sheet of bristol paper from Michael’s. I really do need another light or two. 😀 but that’s about it!
I used this article to make it!
June 17, 2007 at 12:52 am #573733I have that desklamp! The black metal bell around the bulb always falls off onto my keyboard and scares the bajeesus out of me. 😆
