You have a massive collection WolfLodge! *envy* o.o Yay Whelen dragons! My collection of them is growing faster than my windstones 😯 I have 5 large Whelen dragons and one mini one.
I wish I could afford to get all of them, but I have to wait them out on ebay x3; But slowly but surely! Would you take a picture of all yours? I’d love to seee!
I got all of mine on ebay. A couple eluded me for a long time because they didn’t come up very often and they always went high. Patience paid off though, I don’t think I paid over $125.00 for any of them and some alot less! I’d be happy to take a picture of all of them for you! 😀
Wheeeeee!! Lookie lookie what I got! The peg came yesterday (or maybe Tues?), but the dragons came today! (Fledgie courtesy of LIH- thanks!) I’m sooooo happy for the old green fledgie! I have them all! The pic I took of him by himself is horrible tho, so he’ll have to share the spotlight a little:
And I snagged one of the Intense Violet EmPea Males yesterday! It got shipped today, yay!
This, along with good news from the seller of that demolished green emp, makes me very happy right now. Yeah, my highest paid for one was $89 😀 It’s a great strategy! And yay! Thank you! Can’t wait to see ’em 😀
I have all 12 large Whelan’s and all 7 of his mini’s in my glass cases. I hope to learn how to take and post pics one of these days

If I’m not mistaken, I have one, but he looks weird on my work computer monitor. I hope your monitor will show the colors better 😕

Wolflodge seems to have an intense momma and probably male/father in her photos here:

The emperor has less and I think he’s a regular one. Dragonfeathers’ scratcher (scroll down on the above link) also seems to be a ‘normal’ one. Can you see the difference?
Only the very first batch have such ‘heavy’ amounts of purple on them. Then Melody decided she didn’t like it as much and toned it down so there’s only a hint of purple, and it fades into the blue color more strongly. They’re calling the first with more purple the “Intense violet emerald peacock”. I’ve seen both in person (I have an intense momma, just by coincidence) and it is a difference. The purple is much more striking on the intense ones. I like the ones with less purple better personally!

The fledgie I got from LIH appears to be sitting at the post office still. Lucky you to have gotten yours so quickly.
