Ah! I was trying to figure out what the heck it was. It didn’t look purple enough to be a violet flame, but I couldn’t think of anything else. I forgot about the green sunset ones.
They’re nice, but not the top of my list.
(Not that I’m getting a Secret Keeper any time soon…)

Dragonmedley, I just love your setup for displaying your collection.
The old greens look great together, pipsxlch. I don’t see them together very often but when I do, I’m reminded of how lovely they are.
Lamortefille, I never would have thought of an oriental themed bathroom, but yours looks great and the jade fits in perfectly.

Thanks everyone. I have a really big curio that I bought especially to display them all in, but I have run out of room. I am going to be hard pressed to fit the few new ones I have coming. I am afraid to try to paint the PYOs. I have no artistic talent whatsoever, and so they just sit naked. Fortunately for me, so many of you are willing to share with us poor unfortunates who cannot do for themselves. I am so envious of all the talent I have seen on the forum. Yes, that is the gold leaf PYO Nambroth did. He is quite unique. littleironhorse, I will post a picture of green sunset SK soon. She really is very pretty. My favorite.
Are you sure that’s a Green Sunset SK? There’s no green on it. 😕
I just looked it up on the Ebay Gallery page, and it is! He’s gorgeous! *whimper…sob…cry* I want one.
I guess the green sunset SK was inspired by the “green flash” that is seen at sunset, so Melody put flashes of green here and there on her sunset colors. When I lived in Hawaii they always announced what time the green flash was to occur, but I never saw it.
Hi all. Well, here are pics of my collection as promised. I will be receiving 2 more PYO’s soon. When I get them, I’ll do another post. The other is another commission called Autumn, which was painted by Andrea Barnes (I missed getting the other one during the auction). It will round out the Summer, Spring, and Winter I already have. Wow, Daveyboy! I’m impressed. I really like your Black Gold family all together like that (as well as a few other things!). They are so pretty.
