You have a nice collection 2-medusas. Could you take a closer picture of your oriental dragons?
Seconded. I could’ve sworn that baby was the jade color…
I know. That is what I was thinking.I think the same thing. I really want one. I have not seen many. Not nearly as many as the regular oriental.May 17, 2007 at 2:20 pm #5732592-Medusas, can you take a close up of your Young Oriental Dragon in green, out of the case? It looks Jade to me too, but I haven’t seen one before.
May 17, 2007 at 2:42 pm #573260Sure, here you go. Would someone please explain why the special interest in this little guy? Thanks!

The dark green is a mistake – emerald that didn’t get all its coats. They’re rare and very looked-for.May 17, 2007 at 2:49 pm #5732622-medusas wrote:Sure, here you go. Would someone please explain why the special interest in this little guy? Thanks!
They are the darker jade color. All green ones are officially called ‘Jade’ but we call the darker color like you have ‘Jade’ and the lighter green color ’emerald.’ Jade is thought to be more rare, though I have seen more jade orientals than emerald. Young ones, however, have been very scarce. I have only seen 3. Hence everyones interest. 😆
May 17, 2007 at 2:52 pm #573263And I’ve never seen any before and didn’t know they existed! Did the Oriental Sun Dragon come out in the dark Jade too?

Now THAT I have NOT seen one of. I would love to, though!! We have no proof they exist yet, as far as I know.

I’ve also never seen a sun dragon in the darker indigo-blue. Has anyone else?

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-8/1068834/orientalwindstones005.jpgI hadn’t ever seen one before, so this is a new one on me. If you decided you wanted to sell, 2-medusa, I’d buy. 😉
I haven’t seen the sun dragon in that dark blue or the jade green either. I’m kind of just watching, though, if the sun dragon did wander out in dark jade.

Hehe. You might have to get through me first 😉 I’d be willing to pay one pretty penny for that one.
May 18, 2007 at 12:01 pm #573270Thank you all for the info–Silly me, I just thought he was Cute! Well, he is cute and I guess being rare doesn’t hurt either! 😀
May 18, 2007 at 3:35 pm #573271You should point it to Melody’s attention, she always likes to know when we find special or different production pieces like this one.
May 18, 2007 at 5:06 pm #573272Wow, that is cool you have a jade baby. I haven’t seen that one or the Sun one before. Congrats Medusas
