I could send a Brit friend of mine into fits of laughter by saying Deuteronomy (the fifth book of the Bible)in American English. We say it Dootr-ah-nuh-mee, and don’t ask me how they pronounce it.
April 28, 2007 at 7:01 pm #540798And oh WOW, wolf! You have one of the biggest collections of all – how do you fit them?

Thanks! I am waiting on 2 more cases that I ordered. I really wish I had more room so they weren’t all squished together but I have wall to wall furniture already 😯 😆
April 28, 2007 at 7:30 pm #540800I go by the English following because i am English and its just our language afterall. 😀
Its been a very intresting topic, if a little off topic. 🙄
Peacock Scratcher due any day now 😀
April 28, 2007 at 7:31 pm #540801Still waiting, Griffiness? They take so long to hop the lake, don’t they.
April 28, 2007 at 7:34 pm #540802uh huh 🙁

Sometimes they take forever to hop the border to. 14days and counting for my BG culie……
April 28, 2007 at 8:37 pm #540804Foxfeather – I’m glad to know you’ve been waiting as long as I have been. Its been 14 days for me, too. For the past few months, Windstone shipments were only taking one week, so I started to panick since this last one is at 15 days. But, if we are both waiting then it must be okay…just slow border officers.
April 28, 2007 at 8:39 pm #540805The first piece i had shipped from windstone took 10 days, not that i was counting or anything 😆 The second piece took 14 but it was over the easter bank holiday so i guess it got held up a little.
Im hoping the scratcher will come Tuesday ish as i have that day off 😀 Im expecting a little letter through the door saying ‘you have a parcel with a customs charge, royal mail have payed the charge blah blah blah please pick it up from your parcel depo and pay us the money’ The depo is juts up the road so noproblems there 8) Im curious how much customs will be, or maby it will slip though. I guess it depends on what Adara put on it. 😕April 28, 2007 at 11:19 pm #540806dragonessjade wrote:wolflodge100 wrote:I got the first rubies to come out, the flash really lightened them up. Yep, I like your collection. What is the little griffin from in the first pic by the Flion?
The Griffin is from the Stone Critters Collection that Hallmark stores used to sell. They are the collection with the little dogs and other animals. The Griffin and the 4 Dragons on the right are from the same collection. I think the ones I have are the only Dragons they had in the collection.

😯 It never takes my stuff more than 7 work days to reach me. And I think that’s long!
April 29, 2007 at 4:52 pm #540809I never pay for really expensive 3 days postage from the US to England as its expensive and will almost get chucked on the plane. You get a bigger chance of a larger customs charge as well as they tend to think its important.
April 29, 2007 at 6:20 pm #540810Wow….pretties!

No kidding! I only pay regular Air Mail too, but I guess they’re just fast for me! 😀
