They haven’t gone up too much right now, about $110 to $132 for the Mother. I found my Male for $106. They will probably go up more when they become more scarce. They were only retired last November, so some stores still may have them at the original pricing.
I’ve got a rainbow young and I’d like a rainbow fledgie but I don’t really care for the bigger rainbow dragons. Does the new em-peacock lap have much purple? I know it doesn’t show well in the pics I’ve seen. I’m wanting a lap and deciding whether I should get black gold or em-peacock. If they do decide to bring out a gold w/purple highlights I’d have to have a male. I was wanting a gold male and don’t like the brownish gold as much. Are the gold ow’s they’re doing now the kind with brown or purple? I may have to post an ask Melody.

The Gold OW’s are not quite out yet, so only Melody would know the answer to that question at this point. The last Male I got for stock had purple highlights (or shading, might be a more appropriate way to describe it). He’s really nice.
The new Emerald Peacock items don’t have as much purple on them as the original Mother and Male did when Melody was still figuring out the color. But there is some, but it’s a darker purple and blends into the blue really well. It’s hard to photograph. Purple never seems to want to show itself on photos.
The Black Gold Lap is very pretty. I have a photo on my web site of the one that Whippet got from me. Click on the dragon page and then the link on Black Gold in the Lap Dragon section to see it.

Thank you. I appreciate it, I know that sometimes certain colors hide themselves in photos. My custom horses can be a pain when I use metallics (which is most of the time!) Thanks again. I know I didn’t see them on your site but do you have any rainbow fledgies hiding in a back room I might be able to purchase? (insert puppy-eyed smiley here!)

Griffiness, have you ever tried using solid color cloathing or a blanket for the back drop before? It might sound wierd but it workds..bedding sheets, skirts, dress, blanket.when i took my photos, I used a bunch of black dress slips.

I saw a lap in BG yesterday and it was stunning 😀 The shop had a male in BG but i didn’t like him at all 😕

Beautiful collection, enchantments! How funny – I have one of my curl dragons on a claw foot candle holder, too. I wish they still made those, I would buy more for curlie stands.
