WOW, I must be stupid, I didn’t know you finally got yours! *does a dance for you* HOORAY! 😀 😀
Yep, the photo of the BEP is pretty acurate. His purple doesn’t show up much (under his chin, his back wing, his toes) Wow, yours doesn’t even look like a Black EMERALD peacock, he looks like one of the black VIOLET peacocks, or a cross between the two..Black Emerald Violet hehe

You knew, Wolfen. You congratulated me before, too. You must be really busy. 😆
That color discrepancy is strange. I like your bright one a lot more. Mine does have nice emerald on it, but I would have preferred less purple, like yours. Especially since a bright one like yours will be more of a contrast to my BVP when I get it. 😛 Oh well. No way that expensive bugger is going anywhere now.

It’s alright Wolfen!!! I have my ways, besides I was always told when growing up, good things come to those who wait!!! 😆

I was looking over my black gold young, and i noticed something funny about his paint job. I was wondering if any one else had a young black gold and could tell me if their pain job was the same?

See, the long flat belly scales? on one side they have the gold to red paint…but if i turn him over, the flat belly scales are black.

Hmmm…That’s weird…I have an Emerald Cat wizard who has no pawpad paint marks…Melody offered to have some of those paint problems fixed once, but I’d rather keep him jsut the way he is. He’s special!!! 😆

yeah, i was wondering if he was one of a kind..or if they are all painted like that. I noticed it when i first got him and I had emailed(before i knew about the forums) and I guess the lady who emailed back had a hard time understanding what i was talking about…and they didn’t have any finished pieces on hand at the time to look.

so I thought i might get a better idea here, people have such vast collections.

my rainbow young dragon has similar color controversy. his stomach is reddish, but on the side, it is rainbow.

The emerald cat wizards have dark paw pads. The test paint one had the light pads, then they said hey, siamese cats have dark pads, so they painted them dark but never changed the picture!

WM and GB – Wow! – Very different OWs, but they are both beautiful!

I had a mother dragon black and gold like that, but then I traded for one that wasn’t like that because they thought it was cool to have a OOAK kind of reject piece that wasn’t finished. So there are probably more out there, but I think it’s just the simple fact that whoever painted it just forgot.

One of my griffin chick was missing the paint on it’s claws so it must happen to all the pieces one in a while. I mean, the painters are only humen right? =)

              Got a busted Windstone?

I wish I didn’t have shaky hands. I was waiting past the weekend since it was all rainy and blah outside to take photos with natural sunlight coming into my room. Then my hands decided to be all shaky and bad and I ended up using the flash, anyway. Bleh.

My desktop guardian, along with an OLD OLD sculpt of Dakota, my gryphon along with a maquette of Lillian, my screename-sake robot. Oh, and baby bluebird peeking out. Can’t forget the baby bluebird.

My headboard to my bed is actually a bookcase with a flat surface on top. The rest of my Windstones are here, along with other junk I’ve had since I was a kid. (Also you have the Mufasa and Simba figure, which I got for an amazingly low price on eBay. If only I could get more of those figures for only $35…)

I have never been able to photograph my black griffin properly. Ever. Even my prototype PYO’s that I did without any guidance from that wonderful tutorial Nam made later on look better than the black griffin. Oh…and seashells. I collect seashells. Those are more in my price range to collect. XD

My O. Sun Dragon lovlingly named Frank and my hippogriff. Frank is still being worked on- he had minor defects from sitting in a store for about 5 years (I bought him last year from the original store that carried him- meaning he must’ve been sitting there for a long while). I just need to put on a little more of the interference paint on one scale and cover it all with the gloss, and he’ll be done.

The “mushroom” birds that sit at his feet are his friends. Or at least I say so. XD

That headboard is going to have to be completely re-organized once I get the wolf-coloured mama gryph. D:

Nice collection! I like the way you have them mixed in with all the other critters 😀

Nice collection rockerbot: -) I think the mushroom birds are adorable. I have a couple sitting in one of my outdoor (fake) plants. That’s the first duck I’ve ever seen!

                    Nice collection. Mushroom birds?
