Congrats. on your replacement dino in a color scheme you love! I wonder how come no test paints where ever done of baby triceratops?
I have no idea, but it’s a down right shame!
As I understand it, the test paint baby stegos were left-over unpainted castings that turned up when Windstone was moving from California to Oregon. I guess they didn’t find any triceratops babies lurking in the corners.
Fun fact (to me anyway) – some of the test paint stegos are the original design and some are the sculpt after Melody reworked it. The tail spikes and nose are different:

Newly arrived – the Mother and Father Winter Cinnamon Ki-rins! Thanks you to the buyer of my Sweet N’Sour Ki-rin who made it possible for me to afford these guys, and to the wonderful forum member who has helped me collect some of my prettiest pieces! These Ki-rins were pretty in their pictures, but they are absolutely stunning in person. There’s so much gold shift on the red, and the scales have really gorgeous variations. This is my third set of matched test paints and I just LOVE being able to keep the families together!
