Okay, I know I haven’t visited in AGES, and I’m not really planning a come back, but I saw several rubies while Christmas shopping and since they’re retired, I thought maybe some of you might be interested.
The store is called Dracolite and it’s on Jean-Talon Street in Montreal. Here is their website: http://bijouxmedievaux.com/
It’s only in french, but the address and phone number are there.
The Windstones are not listed on their website, but they do have several:
Ruby Lap Dragon: $226.76 CAN
Ruby Male Dragon: $157.24 CAN
Ruby Mother Dragon: $147.00 CAN
Ruby Fledgling Dragon: $87.74 CANAll those prices are in Canadian dollars and include tax. I did not inspect them minutely, but at first glance they all seemed to be in mint condition. Unfortunately, the store owners did not keep the original boxes. I asked and they will do lay-away, but you have to pay 50% up-front.
They also had several other current production Windstones, but I didn’t think to note the prices:
Gold Emperor Dragon
Black Gold Male Dragon
White Grand Unicorn
Wolf colored Male Griffin
Wolf colored Female Griffin
Hippogriff Candlelamp
and a pair of The Critic Gargoyle BookendsAnyways, even if any of you in the Montreal area don’t want or need those, it’s a good opportunity to see them live!
October 28, 2007 at 12:27 am #629822Actually, this store does have an English site: http://bijouxmedievaux.com/english/
I’ve bought jewelery from them before, I thought the name looked familiar…I didn’t know they sold Windstones though, cool.

I didn’t even notice the language option! Oh well, thanks for pointing it out π
October 29, 2007 at 6:42 am #629824Yay, LIH came back! Even if only for a couple posts…

Hi GB!
I promise I haven’t left you guys for good… Only until I’m completely debt free! I cannot/will not allow myself a single Windstone before then and being on the forum is just too much temptation.
I’ve also decided that when I start collecting again I will only go for regular production pieces and will not spend a dime over $200.00 per piece.
Gotta set some limits! π
Although I have to tell you… Seeing all those dragons live and not buying a single one was truly a test of my resolve!!!
October 29, 2007 at 7:20 pm #629826I admire your willpower, LIH: -) It’s nice to see you, though…
October 29, 2007 at 8:33 pm #629827Thanks! It does feel good to talk to you guys again though…
I guess I might try and hang around a bit, see if I can stand firm against temptation *picture preacher with hands raised to heaven and trembling voice here* π― π
October 29, 2007 at 8:44 pm #629828π @ that image… I think there are quite a few people on here that are broke and aren’t buying much right now. I know I’ve slowed down myself. It’s still nice to look at everybody else’s goodies and chat. π
October 29, 2007 at 11:42 pm #629829That’s true… I have peeked in once in a long while, mostly in the Gallery and the PYO thread to see what everyone was coming up with. Gorgeous stuff!!!
But, OMG is Melody ever on fire! I can hardly believe what has become available since I left π―
The only thing I’m really sad about is the retirement of the rubies, I had planned on getting them all whenever I was able to π
October 30, 2007 at 12:04 am #629830Melody on fire = everyone being broke. π
I’m sure you’ll be able to get some rubies down the line. I wouldn’t give up hope.
