I have no name for this fellow, if any of you can think of one then please share!*NOTE* IF he looks like anyone elses… I apologize. That is not what I was going after. There are only so many ways to paint these guys… blue and purple are my fave colors and I like the natural colors too. I just got it and painted it. The wings might kinda look like windstonecollectors wings on some of her wolves… so those where inspired. 🙂

I really like the blending of the shoulder fur into the wings, that really ties the wings and wolf together nicely. Sometimes when the body and wings are so different in color, it disembodies the wings.
Great job, he really looks great, you thinking about antiquing him? Looking at him, a nice sienna antique would really look good, give his fur and feathers a bit more depth and just really pull him together, but he still looks great as he is. And I admit that sometimes it is best to stop while one is ahead…I’m bad I tend to tinker with stuff too much.

Beautiful. You did a great job on bring the colors together. I love the winged wolves. I tend to favor the reds and browns . Hmmm Could it be something to do with my dog??? 🙂

This one looks platnum or pewter and that wasn’t the look I was going after, there is actually a darker shade of grey in there! lolThat face pattern is great!
