$600, are they mad? Not that it isn’t great for DM, but I was really hoping to get him.
As for your quest for more browns, Leigha, go to the Windstone store, scratchers, spectral, and a few others are available in brown direct.

No more mad than anyone else here, and frankly I find your comment insulting. I want him, and I mean to have him.
WOW $600… I know that it may seem like alot but I would never sell mine for that much….he is well worth the money I think, Congrats to whom ever got him.. 😀

February 20, 2008 at 3:30 am #666426I’m sure it wasn’t meant as an insult 😳

If you want to take it as insulting…you can. But that wasn’t how it was meant. Great that you have that kind of money to throw around, but when the price doubles like this, then the repercussions for future sales makes it harder for those of us with less $$ for future chances at this color sculpture.
Now everyone who has a Brown OW and might consider selling it is going to want $600 for theirs too, which makes my chances of getting one even lower than it is now. So be insulted if you want, but this kind of price doesn’t help the rest of us hoping to get a brown OW of our own.
I am glad you’re getting one, but not so pleased for my future chances. Take it as you will, if you want to be insulted and mad, go ahead, but I was just stating my personal opinion.

February 20, 2008 at 4:00 am #666428Ok,
I have updated the first post. I need some offers for the White OW. 😉They couldn’t get it anymore.
February 20, 2008 at 4:32 am #666429I’m not mad, I just think it’s sad that people have to stoop to be insulting rather than being happy for one another. I’ve missed out on a lot of pieces I wanted because I couldn’t afford them, but I never whined about it. I sure wouldn’t expect people to step back and not bid on something just so I could have it myself, either.
I say yay for Windstone if the values on their retired pieces go up. The sellers and the people who can afford them both win. If the brown OW really isn’t worth what I’m willing to pay and others jump in to expect that and don’t get it, the price will go back down. Everyone’s happy.
February 20, 2008 at 12:27 pm #666430Wow. >.>;.. So anyways, the other day I was watching House, and..uh…stuff happened. 🙂 *smooth*
But yeah, when will this auction end, pray tell? *egg-cited* XD

But, it’s great for Windstone that pieces appreciate so much in value. And it’s good for collectors, to know that their collection will appreciate in value- true, many collectors would never sell their pieces, but it’s a nice thing to know! Windstones keeping a high precieved value is one of the things that keeps Windstone in business and producing more things.
I know, it’s not so great for those of us with shallow pockets- but that’s the way the world is. There will always be stuff we can’t afford, things we miss out on. I see things get bid out of my range all the time, I know stomping my feet and pouting about it seems a little childish, eh? 🙂

You and me both, man that really sucks.

February 20, 2008 at 7:57 pm #666435Waiting lists means that Susie will let you know when there are new ones (usually via email). As far as I know, Windstone does not make it a usual practice to -hold- an item for you except in special cases. They just don’t have the room nor resources to do so normally. 🙂
Just so you know!

I didn’t know voicing my disappointment, then moving on to another subject was considered stomping and pouting, but hey, if you guys want to think so, have at.
I’m done with this one.
