If you are in pain, have you heard of Tahitian Noni juice? It is really good for pain. People have taken it for overall health and all kinds of ailments including healing cancer or helping healing after chemotherapy, it’s anti-inflammatory and a pain killer, it helps heal burns, cuts and wounds and helps boost your immune system protecting against colds and flus and things. Anyway it could help you with pain. You just drink a small amount each day as it’s a powerful superfruit!

February 16, 2014 at 5:21 pm #908915sorry about that..I had another one of those pain spams last night.
ans this isn’t normal pain. It cames for no apparent reason, always in the same areas, in my ribcage, bit like its in and under the bones. Usually in my back under the right shoulder blade, the left side of my ribcage, inside my abdomen- just below the ribs on either side, and underneath the right breast, right inside the ribs dierectly under it.
Comes and starts low, in pangs every few minutes, that get sharp, like I am haveing a knife stabbed through me over and over. I leaves me shaking, tears streaming down my face, on the floor, wishing something, anything would make it stop. I don’t even notice anything else, because the pain drowns it all out. nothing else exists at that moment but the pain. and then it finally loosens it grip and starts weakening away. sometimes before it leaves it will peak again. this is unlike any other pain. makes you see red, and your eyes glaze and you can’t really see then, it is so bad, make breathing hard, it is so bad, and it doesn’t stop. it keeps coming back, again and again.
it put me into shock last august, and that is how I ended up at BDH the first time, and that was a short cycle. it only lasted an hour.
for reference to my pain tolerance, we found out through micro current therepy, that my muscles all over my body are ALWAYS in severe pain, but I have felt it for so long, i have become so used to it, i don’t really feel it anymore. I have a very high pain tolerance. I have started noticeing my joints acting funny and in discomfut, but I can’t explain the weird sensation, and it is beacause it is in pain, that I have become numb to, exspeaccially my finger joints when I grip a brush, and it is making it very hard to paint. sorry for errors, my hands are acting up again and it makes it hard to tpe and use my mouse onthe compiuter
The muscular pain has gotten better, but every thing else worse. my hormones have gone way out of balance for some reason. my cycles are completly sporadic, I’ve started sweating horribly, even with anti presperant, like dripping and running down my arm bad. my acne just exploded, worse than when i was fourteen. i just want it all to end, and exspeccially the pain..it haunts me

Sun Dragon Koi #3February 21, 2014 at 8:22 pm #909067Just got my labs back. They were all normal. They ran a full panel, including advanced testing for lupus signs, lyme etc.
I did notify my doctor and my Physical therapist of the weight gain. My therapist just shrugged it off…..until she saw me get out of the pool.
The clothes I wear are all like loose sweat pants and shirts, ya know cause I am used to riding my bike. I guess it hides it pretty well.My aquatic therapy is done in a separate area of the office than other therapies (pool), so she hasn’t seen me in the pool for about three weeks. I heard them comment when I went to change, that my limbs did look much thinner. She seemed concerned about it now.
I am pretty sure it started about 2-3 weeks ago as I started to suddenly get weak again. It makes sense to me.I got a call today from my doctor that they are going to schedule another MRI. It is getting really hard to stay positive in all this..Just gotta remember to count my spoons.. :/

I don’t mean to keep harping about Lyme Disease but having lived through it myself it just sounds sooooo familiar to what I experienced… I know Pocatello is aways out for you to travel but there is at least one Lyme literate doc there… There is also the Lyme Light Foundation that provides grants to patients to help pay for treatment. Hang in there. (HUGS)

February 22, 2014 at 5:05 am #909074The weight loss could easily be because your body is fighting this thing–treating it like an infection, which I wouldn’t be surprised if it were–and that battle takes energy. Keep eating, and maybe it would help to choose energy-dense foods, or even one of those protein shake things that the athletes who are trying to build muscle mass use. My sister was bedridden for 3 months following a broken leg, and her doctor finally put her on protein shakes because she lost so much weight. I wouldn’t pick any product without running it by the doc first, though; there are too many products on the market and I don’t know which ones are best for you.
I am so sorry that you’re going through that pain. 🙁 Two possibilities come to mind: one, nerves are misfiring. Two, this is an infection, it’s living someplace sneaky like the pleural space or the lining of some blood vessels, and your body is throwing inflammatory hand grenades at it in an effort to shake it loose. I’m glad they’re sending you in for another MRI. It’s a good way of looking for little knots of infected tissue.
I’m with tdm: Lyme is still on the list even though the test was negative. The reason for this is the organism is very sneaky, and the usual screening test for it involves looking for antibody against Lyme. But antibody levels wax and wane, and whether you find them or not depends on what stage of the cycle they’re in when blood is drawn.
Also, there are some other diseases that behave like Lyme in terms of being hard to detect, and their tendency to hide in unusual places. Please ask your doctor if they have run a full rickettsial panel, and ask if they’ve considered all of the zoonotic diseases. I am thinking about diseases that can come from animals, which sometimes get forgotten in human medicine: Q fever (in its chronic form it can cause a wide range of problems), cat scratch disease (usually self-limiting, but it’s another sneaky devil), Ehrlichia chaffeensis (causes Human Monocytic Ehrlichiosis), Ehrlichia ewingii (causes Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis), and Anaplasma phagocytophilum (causes Human Granulocytic Anaplasmosis). I’m sure there are more, but those are the ones I can come up with right now. But because they aren’t very common, sometimes doctors forget about them. I figure it can’t hurt to bring it up with your doctor.
In the meantime, please, hang in there. Your body is fighting for you. It wants you to be well again, and it’s doing everything it can. Big hugs!
February 27, 2014 at 4:53 pm #909238My camera sucks when the light is indoors, and it wasn’t the full blown bright that it usually is when I am somewhere warmer.
All the photo’s from this past summer have it, but I don’t get sunburn, I never really have being out on my bike year round. If I look at pics taken through the day( s ), early day pics don’t really have it, but as the day goes on, it starts to appear and the longer I am in the sun and heat the worse it gets.
you might have to adjust the brightness on your monitor. It is still there this morning but very faint. I have to get a picture when it is full blown, maybe I’ll hang on my back porch for a while when the sun comes out today..in other news, my weight is still steadily declining. I have lost another 4 lbs over the past week and a half. about 1 lb 2-3 days. I am now 150.8 from 154.9 last tues. I hope they figure something else and find a way to fight whatever it is, or i’m just gonna be skin and bone. Lifting things is getting hard, especially in the left side, as I am right handed.

Sun does the same thing, but with the cold air, it takes a bit longer. It’ll will probably be bright for the next hour and then start to fade back to just below the intensity of the first photo I posted.
I also have lumps around the back of my neck and around 2-3 inches into my hairline. The ones on my neck are just raised red and painful At first I thought it was acne. When mary looked in my hair last night, she said the ones in my hair are red, some are scabbed over and they are on the bases of my hair follicles. I know lupus can cause thinning, but I really couldn’t tell as I have super thick hair, and am used to a ton of it in my hairbrush each time I brush it, so I probably wouldn’t have noticed anyways.. I just assumed it was all weird acne. There are a couple on my forehead like the neck. Raised, super painful, but with no infection in them. Touch anywhere around them hurts. there just, you know, there. These can all be found in the skin related portion of lupus.
I have reported it to my doctors, and now that I have a flared photo, I’ll be bringing it in with me next friday. When my face flairs, it is a slight tingling burning sensation. No itch or pain, but Then I start to feel really tired and sleepy for a while.

Email me for current prices! awier(@)weaselsoneasels.comFebruary 28, 2014 at 12:19 pm #909271I’d say the redness (and some of the acne) reminds me of rosacea. My mother has it and so do I. Mine will go in cycles with little to no acne, and then it will flair up and the acne will be red. The redness of the face is almost always there, but it can get worse depending on things as well. I just don’t have the burning sensation.
February 28, 2014 at 5:35 pm #909278I don’t think it is rosacea. It doesn’t really fit the profile. This is something that comes and goes constantly. It does not stay red or react that. I have no history of anything would make me more likely for developing rosacea and it does not run in my family. I do not have any type of swelling or dry skin or such. I will be talking to my doctors more, but the possibility of it being a butterfly rash is interesting, as lupus is one of the main things being looked at by my doctors.
They are baffled as lupus and I think two or three other things are the only diagnosi that seem most likely actually cover the whole range of symptoms, and the most explanatory reasoning of why this all suddenly came out of nowhere and has suddenly progressed. They are very concerned with some of the more major issues with it, being the weight loss, the seizures and the muscular disruption (extreme weakness and fatigue in the muscles, repeatedly disturbed feedback loops, and sudden unexpected dystrophies of the joints, possibly worsened by the sudden loss of weight)
I really don’t know any more. Having a diagnosis, weather curable or not would be greatest improvement at this point. Know this is happening, and not know what is causing it or may be coming next or may accelerate what I already have is very unsettling. I suppose I am probably worrying to much, but the weight loss is pretty shock and steady and we know as of last night my eyebrow hairs are falling out now..please let it stay there and not spread to my scalp…ugh it is a little disturbing to rub your face and have 1-2 hairs come out each time..on the upper hand, I don’t have to pluck or wax my eyebrows any more each week….i don’t know would that be considered a good thing? ….sigh.. I am just so tired lately..

I read this article on it. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/info/lupus/ Do you have other symptoms like it lists on here? It says on there too that a form of Lupus can even be drug induced if you have been taking certain drugs that can cause those symptoms. It also lists environmental factors and extreme stress as being causes. Did I mention before taking Noni juice for pain? You can get it online or in health food stores and it’s a natural juice with high levels of antioxidants and phytonutrients that can boost the immune system and help relieve pain, joint pain, give you energy and even can help heal cuts, rashes and burns on skin. Try and get a bottle if you can and you only need to take a little bit each day and maybe it will help some of your symptoms. It has even helped with cancers and other diseases. I have taken it for overall health and energy for years and found the best kind is Tahitian Noni juice. If you do have an auto-immune illness or Lupus, check out these articles for testimonials on how Noni helped with Lupus like symptoms and pain. It’s at least worth researching and trying to see if it helps.
