LittleIronHorse might know 😕
March 18, 2007 at 2:46 am #552491All together: $1475 for 17 SKs so far. I don’t thinks thats really a useful number though since there were 2 runs of 6 that contributed to the average… Plus never knowing when the next one would come, if it would come at all.
Now forum members know that there are 18 coming (including the white one that’s on now)… I’m REALLY, REALLY curious to see how this will pan out!
March 18, 2007 at 2:48 am #552492I’m up there Mimi 😀 Have a look!
Edit: You removed you post and now mine looks silly 😆
March 18, 2007 at 2:48 am #552493Thanks! That’s interesting to know in any case.
I’m really curious to see what the coming ones sell for too!
P.S. Yes, I was answering Star’s post and then I saw your post — so I deleted mine. Now it looks kind of funny. 😆
P.P.S. Hahahaha! I was editting this post just as you were editting yours!
March 18, 2007 at 3:00 am #552494Ha! So I’m not the only one to answer a post and find out someone got between me and the post I was answering! It can get confusing when two or more people are on a thread at once. 😀
March 18, 2007 at 3:04 am #552495Mimi, you and LIH have totally lost me 😯

(And I’ll add that making everyone who dreams and hopes and prays for one of these unable to get one because they’re too expensive, just so that yours doesn’t get devalued, well…that’s not “fair” either. Life usually isn’t “fair.”)
sorry I just re read what I wrote I was not just talking about MINE being de valued I was talking about EVERY one sold so far being de valued since now they are selling for less thru an on line store. I guess it would all depend on how much the direct ones sold for. I was just thinking also would store ones even be possible? You said there is no drying space so what if you sell out and have a HUGE amount of back orders on them and can’t keep up with the demand??March 18, 2007 at 3:26 am #552497Not if the price was high enough.

Well, keep in mind that all of the SKs sold so far have been LE or OOAK except for the white ones (which are limited production) — and the LE/OOAK ones were painted by Melody herself. Since there won’t be any more solid core SK’s with the LE or OOAK color schemes, those pieces will always be special and will be significantly more valuable than any eventual hollow core production pieces with the same color scheme.

Yeah, I think we were confusing each other at one point. 😆
March 18, 2007 at 5:26 am #552501i know i am confused. are you asking about the sk solid core or hollowed out? i am confused on this one when it came to the price poll too.
i thinkijust nee dto bo to bed.
March 18, 2007 at 5:36 am #552502I think Nirvana had the solid core version in mind for the poll.

This is if they get the hollow core figured out
March 18, 2007 at 6:00 am #552504If they don’t, then its a moot point. 😉
