I’m guessing that I already know the answer to this question.. and that you don’t know anything for certain yet but I had to ask to satisfy my curiosity anyway.
Do you have an estimate for production for the Secret Keeper?
From what I’ve read in the other threads you are still having issues with hollowing out the Secret Keeper sculpture and maintaining integrity.
Or is it possible that there will be no Secret Keepers available anywhere other than ebay? I love this dragon she is truly magnificent (such a pleasing expression) but I can simply not afford to spend two thousand dollars on her. I might be forgiven for an expenditure of under a thousand.. but more than that and I’m really stepping on my husbands toes…
🙄

March 17, 2007 at 2:37 am #552478Yea, we hope someday

🙄 We haven’t made any progress on a hollow SK , but we haven’t had time to work on it either. Perhaps we will get enough solid ones coming out of casting that we can begin to sell them direct from our online “store”( which isn’t up and running yet, we are working on it) at a set price, in limited production colors. I can’t predict when that will be. We are aiming at a price under a thousand.I think the auctioned ones have sometimes gone for under a thousand.Keep your eyes open!
March 17, 2007 at 8:51 pm #552481Oh that would be wonderful! Even if it’s more than some of them have gone for on ebay, just knowing that if I save up X amount, I can get one, would be really awesome!
March 17, 2007 at 9:01 pm #552482I second that! I can’t wait to see the store.

Just a single one of them went under one thousand, a BEP SK at $910. But with the 2 coming runs of 10 (white and autumn leaf) I’ll be curious to see what happens!
March 18, 2007 at 12:20 am #552484I’d be happy with 800 and extatic with 700

March 18, 2007 at 1:42 am #552486I hope they do not go for much less then the $1125 I paid??? That would de value the ones that have already sold and would not seem fair to me
March 18, 2007 at 1:54 am #552487No, because you’d still have the first white one ever made, DM, so no matter how cheap later ones get, yours would be worth more. Even without the number on it, I’m pretty sure it would still be worth more.
(And I’ll add that making everyone who dreams and hopes and prays for one of these unable to get one because they’re too expensive, just so that yours doesn’t get devalued, well…that’s not “fair” either. Life usually isn’t “fair.”)

Yeah well you have the first one. And its signed and no other will be like it. So actually it would only be fair that future ones be less than what you paid.

I was wondering — what has been the average and median price for the SK so far, if you consider all of the ones that have come out?
