I really like some of your peices but seeing the brown color in the gallery really floored me. I really like it better than the black or cream colored ones. Are you planning on doing a line in the earth color? It would match my house decore alot better than the black or white. Thanks!

        Hi Skigod,

The brownish color on the handmade pieces comes from a highfired iron oxyde glaze I like to use. It is mostly rubbed of before fireing to stain only the cracks and accents of the piece. It is very nice in giving the raw clay an old and antient finish.
I like to make them and we could figure out with Windstone what the pricing could be.

They’re very beautiful and grounding, back to earth. I wish I could work in earthen clays but I don’t have a kiln or a way to fire them.

I really like the brown ones also. If they come out in that finish I’ll just have to buy one…or two…or….

Thank you! I would love to see them in production.
