I went a little crazy doing Scratchboard Art but I just love this stuff. Now none of these are the small ACEO size 2.5″ X 3.5″ All are 5″ X 7″ but the last one which is 8″ X 10″ all are going up on E-bay this weekend unless someone wants one. I’m hoping to have a few ACEO size ones made by this weekend too!

April 11, 2007 at 11:05 pm #560966what are you wanting for them?
April 11, 2007 at 11:31 pm #560967Oh, I love that unicorn pegasus. Checks wallet, yep broke. 😥
April 12, 2007 at 4:35 am #560968Lovely, enchantments. I hope it’s okay if I give you a few pointers on the pegasus. For example, the saddle girth is always right behind the front legs. (It would slide all over the place if it had to hold on the belly. 😀 ) That of course means that the saddle is right up on the withers.
And your bridle construction is pretty complicated. Basically a bridle is a band that goes from bit to behind the ears, a headband in front of the ears to hold it and a strap that goes behind the cheeks. You can add a noseband if you want, but it’s not necessary.
Maybe this’ll help later. Either way, your scratchboard art is very striking.April 12, 2007 at 5:08 am #560969oh wow! you are so good at the scratch board! that is so neet!
the pegasus and the one right above it are my faves. the feathers have stunning detail!April 12, 2007 at 5:45 pm #560970I like the first one. How much would you want for it?

I based that last one on a carousel horse and had a hard time finding anything that looked “right” I guess carousel horses are not meant to be realistic in design. I’ve seen some with fabric/ribbion bridles and we all know that would not work. Thanks again.

The first 4 are 5″ X 7″ and are $10 each
The last one 8″ X10″ is $20 I normally get more for the 8″ x 10″ but I messed up on this one.April 12, 2007 at 6:34 pm #560973Are those normal prices? Because they seem awfully cheap to me.

I’m selling these a little cheap becasue it’s an off time & I really need the money (tax time and all) Sales are slow all round so every little bit helps. Thanks for thinking that price was cheap sometimes I feel like I price my stuff too high LOL I always think, “well is my art any good and is it worth buying” glad to know that’s it is worth something 😀 Most of my 5″ x 7″ are around $20 and $30 for the 8″ x 10″ so it’s about 50% but just for you guys! But I do normally list them on e-bay starting as low as $9.95 sometimes.
April 12, 2007 at 10:19 pm #560975Wow, I do think that is awfully cheap. But, unfortunatly, I think there are alot of uneducated people who will say that’s too much. They don’t understand the value of time. Sad really.

I know people see prints and go well I can get a print that’s bigger for less. Like Spark was talking about art prices before lots of people just don’t get that’s it’s original and not mass-produced in china. I have to tell this to people every day about windstone 😯
