I have my washer and dryer posted in a local “free” site for classifieds… this is a responce that I recieved on the add… SCAM maybe???

i am highly interested in immediate purchase of this item with no delay.Would you please email me with the final asking price of the item for imm,diate purchase?

[1.] Do you accept a ( Cashier Check / Money Order ) as a mode of payment?

[ 2. ] What is the final asking prize you can go at last?

[3] Will you let our shipping company to come to you house for the pick up of the item cos we don’t want you to worry yourself about the shipp! ing of the item.

[4 ] You are to send your NAME,ADDRESS,TEL # to mail out the payment today.

[ 5. ] Will you be able to send the excess fund back to the shipping company via western union money transfer same day you recieve and cash the check for the arrangement of the home pick up from your house down to my client.shippment. i’ll like this transaction to be kept in utmost trust

yeah….scam totally…I got one of those doing that on ebay once….won my auction sent me a money order for like $4000 and wanted me to send the extra back to them….

yeah…the money order was faker than Madonna’s hair color….

obviously fake…they aren’t allowed on ebay ever again though….LOL

Yep… it be a scam… people are stupid I swear… on the wed site under ATTINTION ABOUT SCAMMERS I found an exsample… oh and it looks the same as what was sent to me…

definitely a scam- I had them try that on my car I was selling on Craig’s List- nasty people out there.

yep it’s a scam. I wouldn’t bother replying at all. You don’t want to give them any information about yourself cause they’ll probably sell it.

😯 Definitely a scam! I heard this before and they got plenty of people that way…stay clear of those guys! 👿 They would come pick up the items ask for you to give back the difference and then leave. You cash the money order (fake) and then find out later that it is fake…not only do you loose your items for sale but don’t get paid for them and you gave them extra money to boot! 👿

Yep… scams are terrible. 🙁 I didn’t reply with anything to this “person” and what sucks is I thought at first that someone was really intrested in my washer and dryer… then it ends up as a poopy scam.:(
