Don’t leave, DM. 🙁 We’d miss you too much.

Thank you. I was actually considering leaving the Forum all together. I’m sorry if I say things more then once if I get excited especially about MONEY. I’m also sorry for typos but I really should not be on the forum at all while at work but if I did not I would NEVER catch up.
DM, you’re going to end up getting in trouble at work! Why don’t you catch up after work? How do you check postings on the Forum, once you log in? Do you use the “view posts since last visit”? That’s what I use and it takes me about 1/2 hour to catch up – maybe more if it’s been a heavy posting day. Maybe I’m sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong, but I would hate to see you get in trouble or fired. Just my 2 cents.
January 24, 2007 at 9:55 pm #531707But if I do not make any more remarks that would solve the problem all together, and then I would not get in trouble at work anymore

That doesn’t sound like much fun. The not being involved here, I mean….
January 24, 2007 at 10:16 pm #531709aww, I agree DM, don’t leave us! We need our token Emperor collector (meaning not many folks here like them or even own more than one.)to off set all the fledgling collectors hehe And, if you got fired…well that would put a dent in the Windstone collecting, which is a horrid thing too. *pats on head*

I did not even know there was a veiw post since last visit. I usually check as I get e-mial that someone responded the my postJanuary 24, 2007 at 11:30 pm #531712It took me awhile to find it – it really helps cut down on checking. My computer at home, however, always changes the time of my last visit to the current time so I can’t use it at home. It is odd how you can use a web site and then find all these neat little tricks. I always say they are in my blind spot – RIGHT in front of me! 😀
January 24, 2007 at 11:46 pm #531713I just note what topics have new posts. The little “notepad” icon next to ’em is lit up if they do. *shrugs* I don’t like just reading the new posts, sometimes I want to take a “running start” on them, to remind me what was said already.

I NEVER noticed that! Thanks, SPark! 😀 Learn something new every day.

😥 You can’t leave. Sometimes you are the only one that will talk to me. I’d miss you. 😥
January 25, 2007 at 12:24 am #531716I get the e-mail notification and will check the little gold clip board type thing saying new posts.
If people would not type whole chapters at a sitting back and forth it would be easier to jump in an dout quickly.
I can not lose my job over this forum. My 1st level manager made comment yesterday to go along with th 2nd leverl comment I already gotJanuary 25, 2007 at 2:30 am #531717Don’t leave DM, but I would be careful at work. A bunch of people where I work got sent home for a day for too much personal time on the computers. Do they object to you checking the Forum at lunchtime?

My 1st level manager made comment yesterday to go along with th 2nd leverl comment I already gotI don’t understand why you don’t just stay off it while you’re at work? I’m glad I don’t have the temptation to do that. I can only access the HBC website. Also I can only email people that have to do with HBC, and only at their work places. I couldn’t even get away with checking the forum if I could get into other web sites. They police us quite closely. While 99% of my job is in a small locked room with only myself for company, it wouldn’t be worth it to me. That and I’m way to busy to even think about it. Right now I have not only month end to worry about, I also have year end paperwork to deal with. Plus the records going out. Nevermind I’m exhausting myself babeling about work.
January 25, 2007 at 2:50 am #531719People here play cards for 2 hours at a time. We had a couple running businesses on company time. If they want to say something about me checking the Forum they better stop all those other things too. I just might need to limit myself to how long I stay for each session. It taked forever to play catch up for an entire day when I finally get home
