An unusual choice of colors for me.
This lady was originally to become a green rock unicorn – total fail. Striped her down and went with a design that my husband dubbed “runes”.
The black makes it hard to photograph and the light glare on the clear coat hides in great part the dry brushing giving her depth (for once that I wanted a glossy finish instead of the satin…)
And the green is much, much flashier… dang it, why can’t my pics turn out the way I want them to? Aaaaaaaaaargh!

These aren’t my favorite colors, but I actually quite like him! Your lines are, as always, flippin’ perfect! And I do love the swirls. Beautiful job on him 🙂Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

Runicorn, I love it!
This type of green isn’t usually my thing – I went out of my zone here, but I’m surprised by how well it worked out.

September 5, 2012 at 2:54 am #885978Wow! I love his coloring. Honestly, I think he is in my top 5 favorite PYO unicorns so far; with the way the green in the swirls picks up the eye color and shows off the gold, and the swirls follow the line of the body so beautifully! 😀
