As somebody said in the comments when Melody posted this on deviantArt, “Aww, this page is cuter than it has any right to be ^-^”.
If Melody did decide to divide “Rue Day” into two volumes so that the book isn’t an enormous paperback, this page should be a good place to end Volume One. All the relevant threads seem to have been introduced (though Melody might have more tricks up her sleeve. ) All the best stories end Volume One with a cliffhanger. 🙂
Volume Two could begin with Kade bringing Lady Briel up to date as he rummages for the paint remover (someplace) in his room.
“How did you become a Veligent?” “Ayonah appointed me after Lark was injured fighting the rebels.”
“Why did you make a big mess at the feast?” Brief synopsis about Lord Theotherone.
“What are you planning to do now?” “The rebels have sent an arrow inviting me to meet with them. That should be fun.”Maybe include – “Why did you get so upset when you saw me, and why did you think I’m a CAT?” “Sorry, I saw Serence with an evil cat at the feast. I thought you were that cat .”
Well this is a good synopsis.
Seriously… HELP! I can’t find a good stopping place with this story! I will be forced to leave so many threads dangling!
