I have an old warrior in ruby – he’s the dark version of ruby, the deep red that’s almost a cranberry color. The rest of my rubies are the bright hot rod red color. So, I was wondering if anyone out there prefers the dark version and would like to trade with another OW in the bright red…post or PM me! 😉

-J R R TolkienOh, that’s tough. I don’t have a Ruby OW, or I’d be interested in comparing photos. I have a Fledge in the older red, and I think I like it just a hair better than the bright one, although they’re both great colors. I also have a Lap in an intermediate red, and I LOVE her. So the odds would be good that I’d like your OW very much. Phoo, darn, and rats. I wish I could offer to trade! 🙁
Jeez, you know, it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to catch the color of the rubies in photos..I’ll try taking some pictures of a couple of my rubies together so you can see the difference…yours looks like it’s probably as dark as mine, though.

-J R R TolkienAlright, here are a few pictures…it’s frustrating – you can’t see what I’m talking about in the pictures, really, but the difference is HUGE in person. The emperor is an example of the bright cherry red of most of my rubies. The OW is a very dark, deep cranberry red.

-J R R TolkienI do see the difference. Your OW is really dark – like Wolfen’s, actually. I’m pretty sure mine is brighter than that, though I can’t actually look at him right now.
