Windstone didn’t know better, so you can’t really blame the store. The fading was the reason they retired the RF line. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if places operated in hindsight so things like this didn’t happen.
well she in the window until oh October of this year so wish someone had found out in that store but ah well….

You might have a newer Ruby. While any red dragons should NOT be in direct sunlight, the newer Rubies seem to take the light better than the older unstable ones.
Here’s a pic..although it could be better of my unstable OW next the newer stable hatcher. You’ll notice the OW is darker and richer while the hatcher is a shallower red color…missing many of the highlights. The reflection of the back of his head in the mirror is actually more representative of the OWs color. The flash drowned some of his richness out.

Sun Dragon Koi #3I know Windstone didn’t but I wish the word had somehow gotten to Lady of the Lake at some point, she was perfect a year ago but when I returned a year later since I couldn’t afford her back then, she was in her faded state…
I know it can’t be helped but I wish the word had somehow gotten around after the problem was noticed…

Went in for red dragons, the only one left from the year before was the Red Fire Male. He was very faded on one side. The store owner was pretty rude to me when I mentioned it, like she had been asked before or something XD
LOL we’ve all seen the same cheddar male dragon! They had a RF mother with red eyes, I grabbed her in August when I was vacationing in San Diego.
The owner wasn’t there cause I might have grabbed him too if they’d cut the price. But I did explain to the younger guy working there that reds don’t belong in the window and tried to show him how the dragon’s colors were richer and brighter on his non display side. He said he’d tell the owner about it.Sorry if you got the brunt effect of my lecture chris! I was trying to be helpful…and get a deal on a dragon!
Lady of the Lake Idyllwild, or however it’s spelt….I’m not sure if I’ve seen the Temecula dragon….
