A neighborfriend asked me recently what were the differences in the colors of the rubies.Correct me if I am mistaken but when Ms.Melody started doing the rubies they were dark.Problem is they bled and faded if in bright light.They switched to the lighter version before the color was retired.Here are 2 examples.Etruscan has a group that is awesome and in different shades and would you mind transferring your photos here so the newer members can see and learn something new about Windstones.The one on the left is mine and what we refer to as cranberry ruby.The one on the right is Amber’s and is the later version of ruby.I have a ruby scratcher which is still a different shade than these,in between reds but catching it’s true color is tough with my old camera.Whoever has rubies,please take the time to share them with us.Thanks.I would LOVE to see Ruby Unicorns.Every act matters.No matter how small💞

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.I wish it was a better photo – as I said before, they live in a dark corner – but here you are. It also includes a couple of Red Fire dragons. My Ruby emperor doesn’t fit on those shelves.
Top shelf has a Ruby Sun dragon.
Second shelf is Red Fire Spectral, “Cinnamon Pearl #1” Lap by Olimpia and a GB minikeeper, Ruby scratcher, Ruby Lap, Gold baby dragon, Ruby Male and Ruby Young.
Bottom shelf is Ruby fledgling (who is almost the color of the Red Fire Riser behind him), Red Fire Rising Spectral, Ruby mother and hatching, Ruby Old Warrior, and Ruby Rising Spectral.
The “Windstone Identification” thread (a sticky at the top of “General Windstone”) has a discussion with photos of some Rubies and the differences in color on Page 8.
Your Lap,Male and OW are the cranberry? That Lap is gorgeous.

The Old Warrior, Male and Fledgling are all cranberry. The others are all dark, but not quite cranberry.
