How much did the original Ruby Fledges sell for here? Too lazy too look.
Oh, thanks for the info BTW!
$64. I think the store near me had a ruby fledge when I visited (a few months back ). I can call and see if he still has it. I get a military discount.September 29, 2007 at 5:50 am #621704Ruby’s not my favorite color, but knowing that a coloration is retired puts some pressure on to get all of them…
Well, I’ve got the lap and Spectral; that’s all I want for now. Thanks for letting us know, emerald.September 29, 2007 at 5:57 am #621705pegasi1978 wrote:PhoenixTears wrote:How much did the original Ruby Fledges sell for here? Too lazy too look.

That would be cool! But no pressure. Only do it if you feel up to researching that avenue. Thanks for the thought. If you go through with it and find they have it, if it’s $74 or less (double check that it’s in great condition), could you snag it for me? I can either send you a money order or, if you can hang on just a bit until my new address is updated with all my accounts, once PayPal is updated properly (and my bank as thats the account attached to it), I could pay you that way too.Again, make no mistake and dont feel obligated. If you find you have time, it would be cool. Have a nice weekend!
September 29, 2007 at 10:20 am #621706Ruby is not my favorite color either, though I like red dragons. I just like a little of each color… makes me wish there were more sculpts.
September 29, 2007 at 1:12 pm #621707Ditto! 😉
September 29, 2007 at 3:32 pm #621708Ruby is my birthstone and will ALWAYS have a VERY special place in my heart but I wish these had been darker. I hope if there will be a replacment color they will be darker
September 29, 2007 at 3:36 pm #621709The store that I’ve been buying young dragons in, has three rubies left (male, mother and fledgling). I may go back and get the male. I hadn’t really thought about getting any of the ruby dragons besides the young, but they look so stunning in person.
September 29, 2007 at 7:23 pm #621710still NO OFFICIAL announcment about the ruby being retired.I wonder if they will make it on Monday or if it will just be a word of mouth thing here on the Forum??
September 29, 2007 at 7:27 pm #621711I love my rubies, but I’m ready for a new production color. 😀 If it turns out to be one I’m not crazy about, oh well…it’s still nice to see new pieces being produced.
September 29, 2007 at 7:43 pm #621712Have they made announcements in the past when a color was retired?

I think they made an announcement when the Peacock and Rainbow colors were retired. I think its somewhere in the General Windstone thread. I didn’t see it in the Announcement thread.
September 29, 2007 at 8:28 pm #621714I have the two I mainly collect the emperor and the fledgling in ruby. Although I just bought the OW in brown and liked it so well I ordered a white OW. Now I wish I had the ruby but that is not to be.

When Peacock and Rainbow where retired they did. I thought I remembered seeing it under announcments when they retired. I know I did see ti somewhere. I remember everyone scampering to the announcments to read it

All the Ruby Dragons are on the “retired” list. But I guess I went to the retired page as a result of hearing about the retirement, rather than learning about it from that page.
I don’t recall ever being told about a retirement ahead of time, except for the occasional “In short supply” on the order forms for slow selling items.
September 30, 2007 at 12:23 am #621717Yay! A forum member must have read this because she told me her ruby fledge needs a good home and she thought of me! Yay! My first ruby and my first fledge!
