I like the Kinglet best just because he looks so grumpy and a little nervous–he’s cute! I’m still going through Kinglet withdrawal from a few years ago (I had a chance then to get one in White for retail price and passed it up! argharghargh) so I had to get him in both colors. 🙄 Of the others, the Empress looks particularly nice in Silver, and I think they both look good in Rainbow.
LOL – I know it… I was planning on holding out and setting up camp until the Royal Hatchers came out in Black Gold… But I just couldn’t resist them when I saw them in the Silver. It was like I was compelled, I tell ya!

Yep. Emperor is sold out, the kinglet’s down to 7, and the Empress still has 19.
Poor Empress. I hope she doesn’t get a complex. 🙁
I like the emperor cause of the little “squeeeawk” sound I imagine him making. I love the chubby cheeks and mischeivious look of the kinglet.
Although I do like the empress, I’m much less partial to her, perhaps because her expression is more relaxed. I also dont care as much for the three little horns coming down the side of her cheek. I much prefer the facial structure of the other two. 🙂
I like the Kinglet. He’s the only one I got in Silver, although I’d like to get an Emperor too someday. He’s second. The Empress is my least favorite. She looks too snooty for me, or cartoonish. It’s the same problem that I have with the fledgling.
I have one of each in Peacock, and a Silver Kinglet.
He’s a Kinglet cause he’s a baby king…you know, like a piglet. The kinglet is my favorite cause he looks pissed and cute at the same time…kinda like he’s ready to raise hell when he gets out.
Meh. I like the Empress the best. Her little wing is so cute. I wish there was a grown-up Empress. e.e

Haha, me too! He’s the only royal hatcher I have, and that’s why I like him so much — his pose and his face make him look so intelligent, like a miniature adult rather than a baby. There’s a world outside that egg, it’s full of tasty and fascinating stuff, and he’s going for it *this instant* — nothing is going to get in his way! 🙂
Plus, of course, his huge eyes and his itsybitsy muzzle are darn adorable!

I like the hatching emp best. He looks so mischievous. The kinglet probably sells well because he’s cheapest; the hatching emp sells well because Windstone makes a lot fewer of him than the hatching empress.
