Rock dragon.

Hi! I just got my large rock dragon today and he is awesome! I did have one question about him though, the pics of him where I ordered have orange eyes and I was surprised when he had light yellow eyes instead. Was there an orange eyed edition or is the pic a mistake? I think the one on the windstone store is orange eyed too but I haven’t checked yet…Ok, I checked and both pics are the same. I’d really like to get hold of an orange eyed one if they’re available somewhere (I’m a sucker for dragons with orange eyes) Thanks so much! 🙂

I wanted to use orange eyes , but John wanted yellow eyes because they showed up better. Oh well. They all have yellow eyes, just the one in the pic has orange eyes.

Oh, I guess I’ll just pout then…I really like the orange eyes but the yellow are pretty neat too. THanks for clearing it up for me though! 😀

Me too. I hope the rock dragons will eventually come out in other colors, kinda like the little rock dragon that had purple on him. I’m happy to wait patiently though. I’ll save my squeaks for the keeper pyo and phoenix pyo.

Oh, your mock turtles are awesome by the way, the duck dragons too. 😀

Melody, have you done a special large rock dragon? Maybe you could do some with orange eyes or like the small rock dragon and add purple to it. 😀

Cool! I didn’t notice those until you mentioned them. I like the duck dragons, especially the resting one.

I had the casting dept do a batch of large rock dragons in gypsum rather than the cement (it paints easier) so I could paint them as special, indoor only rock dragons. Haven’t gotten to it yet, but they could have different colored eyes.

!!! Are they wildly heavy or about the same as the concrete ones?

I would also be curious how the tensile strength of such large piece would hold up since it is more horizontal than verticle.
