This cat was made in 1985 and is very retired! I am dying for one as my Siamese kitty looks just like it!
I am willing to pay at least $75 for one of these beauties. The item # is 201-S.

    You mean this?

I have a feeling if one of those pops up you’d have to count on paying way more than $75. These old animals of Melody’s show their faces once in a blue moon.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at auction…hell I don’t think I’d ever seen one in the stores.

I haven’t seen one on the ebay auction block yet. but I had a 6 month break when I couldn’t afford anything on there anyway. But yeah, you would definately be fighting a few forum members over that one. You think limiteds are hard to catch…Hee hee 😯

Good luck in your search. Like they said there are lots of people looking for the old animals.

Those kitties have not been seen on auction or by anyone here (except Melody of course). They are wickedly rare, and I fear if one ever turned up it’d go for a small fortune. For example, the armadillos that were made at the same time- only two ever hit ebay that we know about, and they went for a few hundred each I believe?

Ouch! Are these sculptures entirely retired with no chances of them in a different color?

Melody said that she had some in the back that she was gonna put on ebay or something. I can’t remember which one it was tho.
