Hello again, I’m wondering why the, ” Retailer’s group is closed, with only like two members, it looks like. Someone in our gallery once said to me,
“Well your just a retailer.” I was so aghast, that I just stood there with my eyes hanging out.
I own a store, but I was born an artist,
so were all not just store keepers. What’s the deal? πŸ™„

I’m not the one running it, but the fact that one of those two is the “admin” and the other one is “testretailer” suggests that they haven’t got anybody in the group yet because they haven’t gotten around to inviting folks into it, and were just testing it, to see if it would work.

This is a very new forum, after all.

      “Well thank you very much.”
      That’s a very good explanation.

I don’t know.. but I remember that we had talked in the office about how off-putting it sounded to have a retailer section.. like, so what do they talk about that other people can’t see? Seemed creepy to me, so I was one voice that was for getting rid of it. Nobody really used it anyway, because nobody is just a retailer! As SPark said above, we are still feeling around for what works in the way of a good forum, and what we should get rid of.This is a new deal for us! Any suggestions?

Thank you, I probably overstated my dismay, /
( stress). No I didn’t want a secret society, or closed group really, it just struck me strange that it was closed and seemed to have only two members.
What I really want is a better feel for who the Windstone collectors are, what they want and how to attract them. I know that the product deserves a better showing in the market place and I want to be part of making that happen;…. besides, I get paid for my efforts.

Leave it to Melody to state the obvious. Yes, just ask us. She does it all the time.

Or maybe not so much state the obvious but give a simple answer πŸ™‚
Art Slinger, if we’re here, we dont need attracting to Windstones, we already love em! πŸ˜€ Now, sales…..thats very attracting πŸ™‚ Or buyer coupons/rewards/points/you spend X amount, you get XX% off your next order type thing….those are good. Using UPS to ship Windstones…that too is attractive (although not always possible for all stores)

              #532653

All the above is great except UPS. I rather USPS, but, each to their own.

              #532654

I wouldn’t mind USPS for the small lighter weight sculpts, but I’ll take UPS for anything over 4 lbs. I’m tired of things getting broke and the USPS telling me I don’t get the insurance money because they don’t feel it was their fault. πŸ‘Ώ
But that is my 2 pennies. πŸ˜›

lol I meant what should have been obvious to him. Reading it on the page like that, I realize it didn’t come across correctly.

Well thank you very much, I’ll take that as a positive responce. I’m answering the whole thread here,Ok. I like the coupon idea, and UPS always.
(stumbles threw large pile of Windstone boxes)
Clumsey me. ” Oh ,Thank you everybody;..Happy Monday!”
