Today, December 3, 2025, we have restocked small quantities of various items in Copper patina. We did not send an email newsletter to announce this. If you were on a waitlist you will have received an automatic email letting you know that the item you had wanted is back in stock. Some of these items had very old waiting lists and we had rather small batches to offer. If you find that your item has sold out before you have a chance to buy it, please re-join the waitlist for the next batch. Copper Patina is usually made like this – in very small batches of a number of different figurines. We apologize that this may mean re-joining waitlists if you miss the item you want.

December 15, 2025 at 1:32 pm #1703367I think I remember reading that the copper patina colorway started as a way to salvage imperfect molds. Is that still true or are you making coppers just to make coppers? Also, is there ever any chance that the red eyes will come back?
Thanks!

Answer: Yes! You are correct! That is how we began making Copper Patina and Ancient Steel pieces and these are still “rescue” colors since we can only use the castings that come out too rough for the smoother shinier colors. Because these are “rescue” colors, we stock strange quantities of each sculpture (sometimes very few). Painting is done in batches of whatever figurines we have available at the time.
I don’t think we’ll do red eyes again in the Copper Patina, the teal eyes were preferred (however I could be wrong!).
December 17, 2025 at 2:51 pm #1703419Thank you!
I’d squeak for red eyes, but at this point I’ve got most of them and their value would nose dive if you restocked so probably I’ll just keep quiet now. Appreciate the response!!
