June 12, 2008 at 1:26 am #712925So does the artist customize their pieces per the buyers request or are the unicorn/pegasus pieces a part of the regular line? What would you chose? Leave it a horse or change it to something fantasy based? Pegasus/unicorn… do they do centaur?

The artist does customize if the buyer want to. But in the case of the unicorn and pegasus they were originaly sculpt that way. π
Aren’t they gorgious!
I’ll keep mine as is then will paint them myself.
Timeless will be dark not sure what color yet Dark bay black mane and tail or chesnut with mane going lighter at the ends.
Antar will probably be a rose grey.
π
Antar will be glue to a custom base the artist is doing for me.
Timeless will have magnets under the hooves and will come with the large base and two small ones.
She is also sending me two more magnets for me to use with the base I want to make.
It will look like the sahara’s desert sand with the ripples. πcentaurs? no I don’t think so.
Why? you like centaurs?June 12, 2008 at 1:42 am #712927Blackdesertwind wrote:Hoofer wrote:NEIGH!!

June 12, 2008 at 2:07 am #712929I love the timeless resin! Beautiful!
Antar looks a bit deformed without a bridle on π³
The talent to create them is amazing!June 12, 2008 at 2:48 am #712930dragonlairqueen wrote:Should I keep my mouth shut or give my opinion? Y’all decide… π

June 12, 2008 at 5:03 am #712931Those are very pretty, but I agree with BDW’s first point – some of them have way too much tail for Arabians.
June 12, 2008 at 4:44 pm #712932June 12, 2008 at 4:57 pm #712933Soo pretty! I do like the edited tail the best!
June 12, 2008 at 6:25 pm #712934Snarling horse. Rwrar π
How much do they cost? They look expensive π― but worth it!
Do you plan to paint it yourself?June 12, 2008 at 11:37 pm #712935Okay then! I have adored equines all my life, have owned and loved some, showed them and drawn them. I collected Bryers and others in my youth (dragons are winning, now!). To my eye, the necks look a bit too long and too thick at the top, and that one (Antares?) is just plain scary! It looks like it would eat the first thing that crossed its path, including a badger!!! Don’t get me wrong, the sculpting is lovely, and I see why you like them so much. They are quite beautiful! Oh, and you’re right about the tail; less is definitely more!
June 12, 2008 at 11:55 pm #712936I think a few of these were inspired by carousel horses…. Except carousel horses don’t look quite as rabid. lol They are beautiful. I do love them but, I do find that there are many problems with the forms..
I can’t stop loving some of them though. I’m glad I don’t have the money for resin horses… π

This might not be the correct price since I don’t remember at 100%
The Timeless is around $400 and Antar $500
And yes I will paint them myself. π -
