Hi all! Several months back, Skigod gave me a great opportunity to fix up one of the old large wizards, the kind with the blue and red robe. I think I’ve done a pretty good job! Pics of the before and after are here:

The fragments were glued back with white glue, and any gaps filled in with Apoxiesculpt and then textured. Repaired areas were repainted with acrylics, lightly glossed with sealant, and the gold accents touched up with a paint pen. This is my first major repair, and I’d love to do more with other pieces in the future, so I wanted to know what you guys think. Now I really wish I had fought harder for that black wiz that was on eBay last week.

Thanks everyone! Although I had a lot of fun restoring him, I’m not a collector of the wizards. I think in the next day or two I’ll put up for trade or the like in the Flea Market, if anyone’s interested. He’s an old boy and deserves to be where he’s appreciated most!
