Removing Adhesive

I’m working on repairing a piece that arrived with more damage than the photos had let on- it looks like they used super glue to reattach a leg, and dripped some on other parts of the figure. Does anyone have advice on removing superglue?

I’m beginning to think I may have to intentionally re-break the piece to repair it. :’c

A pic for posterity-
You can see some of the yellowed glue on the fellas tummy and all the exposed gypsum is covered in glue as well. Won’t budge with rubbing alcohol or stronger solvents. My next move is to try and use heat. :s

I think this was repainted with nail polish… it’s been a fighter to come off as well. Haaa
