      Now, I have a question, what if you “already” have a varnish on the pyo… will just a spray primer work on it??

        It probably depends on what the varnish is! Do you know what was used? Some varnishes will not let other things adhere to them easily (the idea is that they are a protective finish after all), while some do.

        Well, you certainly need safety glasses, but it doesn’t have any dangerous fumes. They recommend gloves, but it’s not going to burn you like a conventional stripper. =)

        Thats true! They aren’t harmful, I just have a very sensitive nose, and anything chemical-y will bother the heck out of me XD I guess I was thinking of that without explaining myself 🙂

          It was a satin clear coat varnish made by Deltacoat i think.

            Removed some paint with nail polish remover . Got the eyes out and sending them back to Windstone .

                Nuts a double post . My stripping of the unicorns is on hold for now . Need the money for other things right now . Life happens . Thanks for all the info here .
