Yeah, I decided that was the best idea.

There you go. Happy bidding.
February 15, 2007 at 2:47 am #538884Good luck, he’s beautiful. Hopefully you’ll get what you want for him.

He should only weigh about 9-10 pounds packed up. Do you have a handling fee for packaging materials? Or are you automatically including insurance and tracking?
February 15, 2007 at 4:30 pm #538888Just a question, I have a brown male that had his horns snapped off in shipping, I glued him back together and from the front he looks fine but there is a 1/2cm wide crack along the back that I need to re-sculpt. What color paints did you use to match the browns? (I remember reading about it but can’t remember what topic it was)

Uh? I don’t see anything unusually high about the shipping? I haven’t added any fees, it should be by weight, 8 lbs, priority mail, with the more expensive option of express available.

It’s Reaper Master Series miniatures paint. The lighter brown is burnt orange, the medium is Mahogany, and the dark is mahogany mixed with a little black. The antiquing is a light coat of flesh shade ink, and then the whole thing gone over with a gloss sealer.

Hmm. I wonder why it’s so much more than my chart from USPS shows. 😕

That’s what I was wondering. I’ve had two males sent to me Priority and neither was over $15 shipping. I wonder if eBay goofed the rates somehow?

My art: featherdust.comFebruary 15, 2007 at 8:22 pm #538893That’s seriously strange! I see $11.65 as the shipping. Admittedly that’s if I were just sending it from the post office to myself, so that’s the cheapest, but… what the heck? Gah. Maybe I should go edit it to just be a flat rate? I don’t want people to think I’m trying to gouge on shipping, because I’m so not!
Edit – found the problem! All fixed!

That’s just it- I knew you wouldn’t inflate the shipping costs so I was curious why they were so strange! 🙂 Glad you figured it out. Ebay’s new listing method is a bit confusing!

My art: featherdust.comFebruary 15, 2007 at 8:38 pm #538895I get a lot of questions from buyers asking if it’s really 111.06 to ship to the UK. I finally just put it in the auctions that the calculator was off and won’t be more than 25.00.

Putting it in the auction is a good idea! Idiots like me would see the shipping costs and click to another auction. 😉

That’s much better! Good luck with him. I hope you make a lot of money!
