Anyone got a real life photo? Or a link maybe? It looks really brown to me in the windstone store pic…
Crappy pic, but the red fire dragons are on the bottm…vs. the ruby above them with the VF fledgie and curl. Hope it helps: -)
Thanks! I think maybe I’m just not wild about the color. I dunno…I want to buy a male and loved the ruby color, but the red just isn’t catching my eye…
😆 Well, my pix probably won’t convince you to buy, that’s for sure. 😉 They are really pretty in person….hopefully someone else will post better pix. Maybe somebody already has in the dragon picture threads? I don’t frequent them, so I don’t know for sure.
I absolutely love your full collection photos, lamorte. The mineral slabs, the globes, and other beautiful trinkets mingled in with your Windstones, it all looks great. That, and you really have an eye for coordinating the different pieces. 🙂
Out of curiosity, where did you pick up those amethyst slabs and the small globes?

Thank you. Skitterfly and Eleu! 😀 All of the spheres came from eBay except the large globe of the earth (Las Vegas) and the amethyst cluster (gift from my kids).
Here are the rest of the shelves, which is just a small part of my collection…of collections. I’m a packrat and dusting is a well…ya know… 😆 These shelves actually have Lexan front inserts (off for the pix), so they are protected, at least.

Yup, there are those amethyst geode slabs I was drooling over earlier. Almost had me overlooking that pretty PYO zebracorn. I really wish I knew the location of a local rock shop or new age shop specializing in crystals.
And I’d forgotten all about your flap cat shelf! Goodness, what I’d give just to have a small portion of that little group. *purrs*

Aw, thank you! *blush* Our local shops have way higher prices than eBay on geodes and such. 😡 The best prices I found were in Utah on vacation. If I had more room in my luggage, I would have bought tons of stuff. 😆
PS to all…my red fire dragons are all special invisible paint versions. You can’t tell from the photos, though…

😕 Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think that the ones sold in the Windstone store (not eBay) have the invisible paint.

You’re right, BDW. The ones in the store are regular red fires. I won mine on eBay. I also have the young, but he isn’t in the picture. I couldn’t resist them. 😳 😆

I don’t blame you 😆 I had a hard time resisting the Old warrior in that color…just does not fit in at my place even if I like the color. 🙄
