I have to say I LOVE this Poad 😀 . Is there any chance you will make some Limited Production Tiger Poads for the store sometime in the future? Perhaps some with green eyes squeek* .
July 1, 2010 at 4:29 am #819428😮 That Poad is ABSOLUTLY SYUNNING! I want that Poad so bad! I just need to figure out a way to get it…

July 1, 2010 at 6:50 am #819429Any Poad you make with wild cat markings, are Poads this household would love to have. But, we are limited to buying from the store only. Will never be able to afford ebay. And if they do hit the store, we never get the first batch because though we seek out that page tons of times during the day, the releases always come at the moment we take a break to eat or go to the bath. So several batches of these Poads (and anything you put in the store of course, casting issues understood but with hopes that can get nailed down soon enough) going into the store would be a super welcome sight. Same with Cheetah, Leopard (not Bengal cause we did that already), or even zebra too. We love watching some of the wild Poads you’ve ebayed and would have bought them if they were in the store.

Everyone seems to have the idea that ebay is always more expensive than the store, but once in awhile test painted stuff sometimes goes for nearly the same price or even less than limited production things. Gotta keep your eyes open for deals!

I marked this poad a “test paint” because I might possibly make a stencil that would allow me to make a large batch of them. This tiger Poad, with her free-hand airbrushed stripes is too tricky to do in a production batch I think ( I have a several messed up ones that I did before this one). I managed to do a limited batch of free hand Bengal poads, but stripes are harder than spots.

I ABSOLUTLY love the REAL TIGER Poad! But the white tiger poad sounds great with the matching interference and eye color… 😉

Dreamscape, Orion, Poison Dart, Fireberry, Spangler + Tigerberry DragonsJuly 6, 2010 at 12:45 pm #819437Stencils are nice; they enable more people to get complicated-looking patterns, while preserving the uniqueness of the rare test paints people(may have)paid lots of money for. I had a couple of Breyers whose value crashed after the company decided to do nearly or identical open runs of limited or special editions; I never collected them for value, but I could certainly understand the annoyance of people whose ‘one of ten’ models suddenly became one of thousands.
Another big cat fancier here, I’ll buy a Poad in about any wild cat color you put out, whether it exists in the wild or not! (Hypothetical colors are fun; white leopards, red leopards, Maltese tigers . . .)
July 6, 2010 at 3:01 pm #819438The Maltese Tiger sounds like a great idea… 😉
