Sorry for the new thread, I just can’t seem to find my old thread. In the last year I hadn’t had much desire to paint anything, now that things have settled down and most everything is now looked after (so much to do when dealing with an estate) I’ve turned back to painting.

and today… I’m finally happy with how the wings are looking, several layers of interference red oxide, and interference green it looks amazing especially in the sun… I am not happy with the pin feathers yet and will continue to work on them and I’m not yet decided what I’m doing with the white feathers

Thank you 🙂 I just needed to get back into the mood to paint. He’s so much darker than I wanted but, I think hes looking good so I don’t want to lighten him up xD I’ll ruin him for sure…
I think I’m finished with him. I like the wings and I think the only thing I forgot was the lips but, I can still add them xD
I need better pictures though.. I think this one looks about the same as the last one I took… and apparently I need a smaller picture, I’ll upload new pictures later. Right now I’m exhausted and heading off to bed. xD
oooh, I do like the wings! He’s very foxy-looking. I like his black feet, too. 🙂
