Emerald cat wizard relisted due to a high bidder who completely ignored the auction terms and instructions.

May 21, 2008 at 12:55 pm #694683How long are you going to be taking offers on your pieces, ta2ed?
May 21, 2008 at 1:56 pm #694684Pretty much until I offer that is hopefully close to what I paid for them. Otherwise maybe I’ll go to e-bay. Trades on some are ok too 🙂

If you need the money right now why didn’t you take the $185 offered in your flea market post? It could have been faster to try and work with the ebay buyer then to relist it and take the chance of it not selling the second time.tatt2dcowgrl Wrote:
Because it was offered on a payment plan.
_________________I just wanted to put my 2 cents in cause the other thread was locked.. I didn’t mention once that it was on a payment plan. I mentioned I wanted you to check the Price of Shipping so I could get a est of how much it would cost me total. You never once asked how I would pay or If my bid COULD go up higher.. you just listed it on Ebay. But hey Thats my 2 cents and that is why I didn’t even bid on it on ebay.

I REALLY didn’t want to get involved with all of the drama around, but I just wanted to say don’t worry… I made an offer to Tatt2 for an oriental, and then a few days later she decided she didn’t want to sell him anymore. She didn’t even TELL me. Never did, just acted like it never happend. I was wondering what was going on with it and so I looked on the thread to see her saying that she’s going to be selling him on ebay. Thanks. Bad seller techs right there… :/ If you don’t want “x” amount of money for something, then don’t OFFER it for that in the first place.
May 22, 2008 at 4:56 am #694687I think we all understand the situation here, and should leave it as lessons wisely learned.

What? You aren’t the person I had down at $185..? I had you down at $175..?

Offers means make an offer as far as I’m aware… if I didn’t accept it it’s not a done deal. That doesn’t mean someone can make any offer they feel like and i’ll take it

Thank you.

Then you should say that. When people here post something, you notice that they say “I want X for it and so I’m starting offers at X”. If you want $200 for something, don’t offer it at $75 in the first place.
IMO, you shouldn’t just drop something. Here, offers seem to be like ebay. If you offer something at X, but only get X for it, you still sell it. Or at least that’s how I’ve always notice everyone do it of course they all start the starting “bid” at something they would let the piece go for. Please understand I’m not trying to cause a fuss about anything, but this is how I feel. And it really wasn’t very good of you to just drop something and list it on ebay without any contact when someone was interested in the piece. Just avoid this later by asking in the first place for what you want for the piece, or what you are willing to let it go for.
May 22, 2008 at 9:21 pm #694692I didn’t have a firm for sale price- just wanted to get what I paid for pieces. I have seen a *lot* of people post for offers. That doesn’t mean items get sold. I’m sorry you feel that way, and I’m sorry if I did something wrong or hurt your feelings I didn’t mean to at all. I have dozens of dozens of pm’s and can’t keep them all in the inbox or it gets full (wish it would hold more- also wish it would show back and forth convo like an e-mail sometimes it’s hard from one pm to remember exactly what you were talking about with the person). I will keep your advice in mind, thanks
May 22, 2008 at 9:26 pm #694693You can always check out your “Sent Box” and it should have the most recent messages that you sent out to people in it. It does fill up like your inbox though so you could eventually lose messages.
Also don’t forget to use the “Quote” button – then you have a record of the conversation just like in an email.
May 23, 2008 at 3:53 pm #694694Well, drama aside, Im still interested in your rainbow fledge. If you would like a certain price thats different than the 75, let me know, and maybe we can work something out.
May 23, 2008 at 5:54 pm #694695I want your rainbows, but I don’t want to offer at starting because you seem to want way more then that.
You should start at JUST below the minimum you are wanting to sell at. Otherwise it’s just unfair to you and to the person who wants to buy.
If you start at $75 and someone offers $75 it’s unfair to the person you offered it to if you say that “It’s not enough”. Not ILLEGAL. Just unfair.
